20 special tests at Nissan Sunderland's test track. Entry fee includes lunch and a carvery meal after the event, what's not to like? 👍

100% good tarmac and suitable for any car no cage, sump guard required. A great starter event for beginners but also a challenge for those who've been around a few years like me! 😆

Hadrian Summer Tour- Postponed

Thanks for the last minute entries but we are still short of the minimum number of entries.

As such the club will be postponing the event until later this year.

Entry fees can be refunded or retained for the rearranged event.

Thanks to the organising team for their efforts so far.

A few last minute crews will be welcomed as we are a little short of numbers for this 130 mile tour of Northumberland on Sunday 23rd August.

The food will be excellent too- guaranteed!

Sunday 23rd August

Entries are filling up well for the event, which starts and finishes at the Belsay Barns at Belsay.

Don’t forget this is to have an easy run over some of the roads near Rally Stage events of old, and some lovely driving roads in the northeast!

Hadrian Scatter Tuesday 8th September

Hadrian are pleased to announce that we are to hold a Scatter navigational event on the evening of Tuesday 8th September.

The “Caesar Scatter” will start and finish at the Gosforth Rugby club, Broadway West, Newcastle.

Regs will be out in a few days but get the date in the diary.

Simple format-

Look at the regs first!

Pay a small entry fee
Plot some map references
Visit those to get maximum points in the allotted time
Some of the more distant locations will give you more points
Take a photo of the location, road sign, or a feature near the road
Don’t get back late as you are excluded!
Have some hot bait and a bit of motorsport craic
What’s not to like!

Entries will be accepted from any ANECCC affiliated motor clubs due to the nature of the event, and to promote Clubman and new competitors into Motorsport.

Hadrian … 2 out of 2 success

Following on from the great success by winning the Hexham quiz last Tuesday, 2 club members ventured west again to Kibblesworth on Sunday.

Mr and Mrs L started the Whickham Treasure Hunt organised by Colin Fish.

The route and quiz lasted about 1.5 hours and finished at the East Tanfield preserved railway station. A great place to visit with your kids or grandkids… ask the Chair!

Anyway the outcome.

…and the tie decider was … well I ll let you guess from the photo and it involves the biggest flower…
