Some clarification on current and future academy structures and qualification routes 🎯

For 2026

• Qualification for Winmau Junior World Masters is still season 5 & 6 like last year guaranteeing your academy 2 spots at finals day.

• Bahrain qualification in season 5 is an addition not a replacement of the above event

• Girls Super 16 is season 4 & 5

For 2027

• Seasons will be replaced by Series

• Series 1-3 will still be World Championship qualification and World Cup qualification

• Series 3-4 will still be Super 16 qualification (Name change to JDC Grand Slam)

• Series 4-5 will still be Girls Super 16 qualification

• Series 5-6 will still remain Winmau Junior World Masters Qualification

Thanks to your generosity through the games, raffle and blind auction, we raised an incredible £501 profit for the academy. 🎉

Every penny will go straight back into supporting our young players and helping our academy continue to grow.

🎯 DartMann Youth Academy – Weekly Update 🎯

What a fantastic way to finish our final academy sessions before we head into our August summer break!

Both our Development and Advanced sessions completed their respective grading, with some outstanding scoring throughout. A huge congratulations to Freddie, who became the first player to achieve a Gold score in our EQ grading – scoring over 500; a brilliant achievement and thoroughly deserved! 👏🥇

The Development Session wouldn’t be complete without a game of Killer, and once again our Killer King, Alfie, proved too strong, taking the win yet again! 👑🎯

In the Advanced Session, our four newest students all had the opportunity to play a one-leg 501 match against our existing players. It was fantastic to see that they’ve settled into the academy, with some excellent darts and competitive matches on display.

Next up is our Summer Party next week, and we can’t wait to see everyone there for a fun evening before we take our summer break.

🎯 DartMann Youth Academy Session🎯

Something a little different this week as we adjusted the session times so everyone could enjoy the England football match later in the evening! ⚽

It was another very well-attended session, with the coaches putting on a fun Penalty Shootout Challenge to keep the football theme going. Congratulations to Freddie, who came out on top! 👏🏼 🏆

The students then split into teams for a timed checkout challenge, starting on 41 and seeing how high they could progress before the timer ran out. Most teams battled their way well into the 50s, with some great teamwork and finishing on display 👏🏼

We were also delighted to welcome several new students to the academy – Cleo, Ollie, George, Rowan and Thomas. They all completed a practice grading before joining in with the games and fitted in brilliantly. We look forward to seeing their skills develop over the coming weeks. Welcome to the Academy!!

NOTE: - We’re back to our normal session times next week before rounding off the month with our Summer Party on 29th July. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

🎯 DartMann Youth Academy – Advanced Session 🎯

What a brilliant start to our first Advanced Session at our new venue after a two-week break! Despite the hot temperatures, everyone put in a fantastic effort and settled into our new home really well. ☀️🎯

We were delighted to welcome a new student, Jozef, to the academy. It’s always great to see new players joining us, and we look forward to watching his progress over the coming weeks. 👏

The students did really well during grading, with some excellent performances throughout the session. We’re looking forward to seeing how everyone develops and progresses as the season continues. 📈🎯

We then played a game of Halve It, which is always great fun! It ended with Jozef running out the winner, narrowly beating Mitch in a very close contest. We also saw three students hit a 180 during the game — fantastic darts! 💯💯💯🔥

We ended the session with some highly competitive best-of-five matches, with plenty of close games and great darts on display. 🎯🏆

We also presented George with his Green grading medal, which he earned after grading up last season. A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved — well done, George! 🟢🏅

What a brilliant start to our first session at our new venue after a two-week break! Despite the hot temperatures, all the students put in a fantastic effort and settled into our new home really well. ☀️🎯

The students did really well during EQ Grading, showing plenty of determination and improvement. We’re looking forward to seeing how everyone progresses over the coming weeks! 📈👏

We ended the session with a game of Killer — always great fun! It eventually came down to a head-to-head duel between Luke and Oliver, with Luke running out the winner! 🏆🎯
