Gloucester Adaptive Skiing

Great session dedicated to introducing new club members to sit skiing.

A, shout out to Barnwood Trust, whose support has supercharged our thinking and capacity. As a result we are creating more action and possibilities for people with disabilities and mental health conditions.

It was super to welcome Ida Pöschel from to today's session.

Here she is experiencing the feel of a sit ski in the hands of instructor, and chair of the club, Neil.

Ida is Senior Project Officer for Health & Disability and we loved her curiosity about what we do, the vital role of volunteers and many other aspects. There were thought provoking conversations about how we can improve access to snowsports for people with disabilities and mental health needs.

We look forward to welcoming Ida back for a proper spin in the Mountain Man
