Managers Player of the Season and Jessie Anderson Club Award

Finally, finishing off our end of 25/26 season awards we have our Managers Player of the Season.

Lex has been a constant entity in supporting the team this season, both on and off the pitch. She has managed to take up new roles on the pitch both in positional play and on taking on the Captains armbands.

She constantly seeks to up her performance, never wants to leave the pitch and is always a go to person for other players looking for on pitch advice and reassurance. She has also been a direct source of support to the management team taking on more responsibility pre-match and during training sessions. She is an invaluable part of this team.

Lex was also awarded the Jessie Anderson Club Award for dedication to female football. She is the lynchpin between the 'Runners' and the 'Walkers' enabling both social and footballing cohesion to create a single ladies section collaborative approach. Those that know her will know she is also dedicated to the development of the female game - it could not have gone to a more deserving person this season.

Congratulations Lex, very well deserved on both accolades. 🎉🏆⚽

Some of us have climbed mountains, pushed prams, swam seas, run in the sun, boxed and paddled, cycled and stepped, danced and dribbled! All types of sport and activities a plenty! All of us have glistened with sparkle and sweat 😅

We've also snapped an animal or two on our fitness adventures! What creature will be next?! 🐢🐄🐑🐈‍⬛🦆🐶

Presenting your Most Improved 25/26

This season saw so much growth and progress in so many of our players, it has been a joy to watch everyone develop and improve their game. It was a hard choice to narrow it to one.

Paige has improved in all elements of the game. Her mental resilience and physical robustness have grown and she is noticeably a more mature player since coming back from a maternity break. Her situational awareness and technical ability have stood out within this season as part of her progression, now always looking and listening for the option rather than trying to squeeze out a shot. This in turn has linked to her decision making, more often than not making the right choice at the right time.

Whilst she may have liked to have scored more goals this season, from a coaching perspective seeing the relationship development with her fellow forwards and wingers has been very satisfying.

Undoubtedly more to come from a talented player, especially when the happiness radiates both on and off the pitch.

We are behind our girl all the way! 🇪🇸🦸‍♂️

On Sunday we entered 2 teams into the Cinderford Town Ladies F.C football tournament in what was a great day, with lots of teams entered.

Our Red team got to the Semi finals of the Cup competition, narrowly losing out to Bishops Cleeve Development (the eventual winners) in a penalty shootout.

Our Yellow team got to the Final of the Plate competition against Newent Town, again narrowly missing out on some silverware due to another penalty shootout.

Overall a really positive day, that we can be proud of.

Presenting your Youth Player of the Season!

Awarded to an U21 who has made a significant contribution to the team across the season.

Sophie, who only made the transition from girls to ladies football this season, has slotted in well to our midfield set up holding her own against much more experienced opposition and popping up with some significant goals.

Congratulations to Sophie on being awarded the Youth Players of the Season for the Ladies team. 🎉🥇⚽
