We are Gloucester's local yoga studio. Offering a range of classes from traditional and alternative Yoga Studio in Gloucester

14/08/2026

It’s only right we close the studio the same way we opened it… with a party! 🪩🥂

After almost 10 years of classes, questionable playlists, sweaty hugs, big life moments and a whole lot of memories, it’s time to give Quay the send-off it deserves.

We’ll be meeting at the studio from 7:30pm for a drink (and probably a little reminiscing) before heading over to the quays and then into town for a night of drinks, dancing and general debauchery.

Whether you’ve been here since day one, joined us somewhere along the way, taught a class, taken a class or just become part of the Quay family, you’re invited but please let me know you’re planning to attend by booking on the app💛

No yoga clothes required. No early night promised.

Let’s make it a good one 🥂✨

Backing yourself is easy to say and much harder to actually do.

I’ve spent years encouraging other people to take risks and back themselves, so I guess it’s my turn. (Yes, I feel a bit sick posting this, please be kind 🤍).

Honestly, this feels huge, it feels like I’m blowing up the life I’ve built for the last decade and I’m sure it’ll come as a surprise to a lot of you too.

But if 22-year-old me could build Quay from scratch on audacity, delusion and caffeine, I’d put money on 32-year-old me to write one hell of a next chapter 💁🏻‍♀️

I genuinely can’t wait to show you and share with you what’s coming next as we intentionally build the next era together.

We did something really special together here & the story isn’t over yet ✨

Happy starting fights with toxic men on the internet day 🥳

International Women’s Day always gets people talking about what should or shouldn’t be said & done. I also stand by my previous year’s rhetoric of “if you are not angry, you are not paying attention” because how can you not be angry?! Just look around, seriously.

I thought I’d take a different approach this year, as someone who works with women and girls in a yoga studio and football development, I see every day how powerful it is when women and girls are given space to move, grow and build confidence. That absolutely deserves celebrating. 🎉

But I also know this: nothing really changes without men stepping forward as real allies & being part of the conversation too. Change requires those with power, influence and privilege (often men) to support, encourage and help create environments where women and girls can thrive.

Some people will say I shouldn’t mention men in an International Women’s Day post. I understand the sentiment, truly. But from where I stand this year, rooted in sport and in community spaces significant progress only happens when we work together.

That’s the kind of culture that moves things forward & one I will continue to create by being “that” person having “those” conversations with men & forever advocating for women and girls.

Happy International Women’s Day 💛

Today I was invited to the screening of Unreflected Reflections at Hartpury University because this little studio has been involved in a bigger project with the Muslim community in Gloucester 🤍

In May 2025, walked through the door and asked if I’d hold the space open for Muslim women to practise.

It was a no-brainer.
About five days later, we started.

Today, hearing the reflections and lived experiences behind those sessions really hit me. I realised just how much the space mattered.

In sport and business we talk about “holding space” and “partnerships” all the time. But partnerships mean nothing without the relationships behind them. Without trust. Without friendship. Without honest conversations. Without genuinely caring.

And “holding space” isn’t a buzzword.
It’s more than access.
It’s belonging.
It’s safety.

And a studio with its community at the heart of it is the kind of studio I’ll always choose to run. 🤍

As I begin to plan ahead for our intention setting workshop on 2nd January I found the place to start has been by reflecting on the year that’s gone.

In January 2025 our intention workshop involved creating bingo cards (bingo has been a theme all year apparently… I say with a small headache following our Christmas bingo social last night 😅).

I still have a few things to tick off my bingo card for this year and I’ll share an update on all this soon but I thought I’d share 2 things that weren’t on my bingo card for this year that have been quite frankly insane experiences 🤯

1. I taught yoga at McLaren.
2. I attended an awards ceremony at Wembley Stadium.

As an avid manifestor/ vision boarder/ affirmation-er. Nothing is too big & leave a little space for magic ✨

If this has peaked your interested then maybe the workshop on January 2nd 2026 is for you 🤷🏻‍♀️
