👏 Fantastic effort, Lara! 🎾

A HUGE well done to DL Glos member Lara, aged just 15, who produced a brilliant run to finish runner-up in the Women’s Grade 3 event at the Torbay Junior and Open Tournament 👏👏

Unseeded going into the tournament, Lara battled through three tough matches to earn her place in the final, where she faced the top seed.

After narrowly losing the opening set 6-4, Lara responded superbly to take the second 6-1 and force a deciding championship tiebreak, eventually falling just short 10-4.
An incredible effort and a fantastic achievement! 💪🎾

A big thank you to Oliver for his continued support with Lara’s tennis development and to the NET team for organising an epic trip for all the Glos players! 🙌

🥇 Pickleball success for Neil & David!

A HUGE well done and congratulations to DL Glos members Neil & David Gee, who struck gold on Tuesday in the 50+ 4.0 Men’s Doubles at the English Open, held at the NEC! 👏👏

Competing in a stacked category, Neil & David produced a brilliant performance to win the final 2 games to 1 and take the title! 🏆🥇

An incredible achievement, particularly for Neil, with Tuesday marking exactly six months since his hip resurfacing operation. 💪

A big thank you also to Mark and the PT team for all their hard work with Neil’s rehab. 👍🏻
