The only three things you need to do to get back on track after the summer.
Summer’s over. Kids are back. Everyone’s trying to find their feet again.
You don’t need a new plan. You don’t need to go all in. You just need three things.
Training in your calendar. Not “I’ll try to get to the gym.” Two or three sessions, booked in like an appointment.
A step count you can actually hit. Not a random big number. Whatever you’re doing now, add a bit more.
A goal you can see. Not a scale number that feels miles away. A dress size. A notch on your belt.
That’s it. That’s the whole reset.
Standards over motivation. Boring works.

Scott went on holiday.
Ate what he wanted. Drank what he wanted. Didn’t think twice.
Old Scott would’ve come back, stood on the scale, and torn his whole week up. Started again Monday. Maybe not even Monday, maybe next month.
New Scott came back tighter than when he left.
No guilt. No starting over. No throwing away eight weeks of progress because of one holiday.
That’s not luck. That’s not genetics. That’s what happens when you build a lifestyle instead of chasing a deadline.
Scott’s a business owner. A father. A husband. Fourteen hour days, kids, a marriage that needs him present.
He’s down 6kg in 8 weeks. But that’s not even the best part.
The best part is he’s not scared of a holiday anymore. He’s not scared of a bad week. Because the standards travel with him.
Food built around his lifestyle. Training built around his schedule. Standards he can actually stick to when life gets in the way.
80% for a year beats 100% for two weeks. Every time.
If you’re a busy professional and you want this, not just the number on the scale but the version of you that doesn’t fall apart on a bad week, DM me CHANGE.

The 80% Rule Is Better Than Being 100% For Two Weeks
Getting it right 80% of the time for a YEAR…
Will beat being perfect for two weeks.
Every. Single. Time.
One of the biggest things holding people back isn’t a lack of knowledge…
It’s trying to be PERFECT all the fu***ng time.
Perfect calories.
Never missing a workout.
No takeaways.
No meals out.
Then one bad day happens…
And suddenly everything goes to s**t you think you’ve ruined everything
You haven’t.
Missed a workout?Train tomorrow.
Went over your calories?Get back to normal at your next meal.
Had a bad weekend?Don’t wait until Monday.
The people who get the best results aren’t perfect.
They’re just really good at getting back on track quickly.
So stop chasing 100%.
Aim to get the important things right MOST of the time.
Because 80% for a year…
Will always beat 100% for two weeks.
Standards over motivation.Boring works.

80% FOR A YEAR WILL BEAT 100% FOR TWO WEEKS.
Most people don’t fail because they don’t know what to do.
They fail because they try to do everything perfectly.
Perfect diet.
Perfect training.
10,000 steps every day.
No meals out.
No missed workouts.
BUT life eventually gets in the way.
Work gets busy.
The kids need you.
You go away.
You have a meal out.
And suddenly 100% becomes 0%.
So stop chasing perfect. Chase repeatable.
Hit your protein most days.
Get your steps in.
Lift 3 to 4 times a week.
Enjoy meals out without turning them into a whole weekend.
And when you have a bad day, get straight back to it.
Because the person who gets it 80% right for the next year will beat the person who goes all in for two weeks and quits.
Consistency doesn’t need to look impressive.
It just needs to last.
Standards over motivation.
Boring works
Save this for the next time you think one imperfect day means you’ve failed.
Scott went on holiday.
Came back tighter than when he left.
No guilt. No starting again Monday. No throwing away eight weeks because of one week off.
Business owner. Father. Husband. Working long days and still built a body that doesn’t fall apart on a bad week.
That’s not luck.
That’s standards that travel with him.
80% for a year beats 100% for two weeks. Every time.

You’re not broken, your food tracking is
That New England Journal of Medicine study everyone talks about?
It tracked people who swore they ate 1200 calories daily but couldn’t lose weight.
Turns out their metabolisms were completely normal, but they underreported food intake by 47% and overreported exercise by 51%.
Those 1200 calories on paper were actually closer to 2000 in reality.
The cooking oil that never gets logged, your kid’s leftover chicken nuggets, those three glasses of wine you counted as one drink, they all add up faster than you realize.
This isn’t about being dishonest with yourself when tracking calories.
Small bites and sips go unlogged throughout the day, and suddenly you’re eating way more than you think without even noticing until someone measures it properly.
Here’s the good news: you can’t control your metabolism, but you can absolutely fix how you track your food.
If you haven’t lost weight, by definition you’re not in a calorie deficit, and that means the solution is simpler than you thought.

Why You’re Not Losing Weight Even on 1200 Calories
You know when you feel like you’re doing everything right but the scale won’t budge?
A groundbreaking study in the New England Journal of Medicine revealed something shocking about people eating 1200 calories daily without losing weight.
Their metabolisms were perfectly normal.
The real issue was tracking accuracy, with participants underreporting food intake by 47% and overestimating exercise by 51%.
That careful 1200 calorie day was actually closer to 2000 calories in reality.
The cooking oil that doesn’t get logged, finishing your kids’ leftovers without thinking,
or those three glasses of wine you recorded as one glass all add up fast.
An entire untracked weekend can completely derail your calorie deficit without you realizing it.
This is actually great news because you can’t fix a broken metabolism,
but you absolutely can fix how you track your food intake.
If you haven’t lost weight, you’re not in the calorie deficit you think you’re in,
which means the solution is totally within your control.

6 FAT LOSS LESSONS I WISH I KNEW YEARS AGO. 👇🏽
Fat loss is nowhere near as complicated as people make it.
I spent years thinking I needed to train harder, eat cleaner and do more.
But doing more isn’t always the answer.
Most people don’t fail because they aren’t trying hard enough.
They fail because the plan they’re following is too complicated to stick to when real life gets in the way.
So keep it simple.
Hit a calorie deficit you can actually maintain.
Get your daily steps in.
Eat mostly good quality food, but leave room for the foods you enjoy.
Lift weights and focus on keeping your muscle.
And stop letting one bad weigh-in convince you that nothing is working.
Your weight will fluctuate.
The trend is what matters.
The best fat-loss plan isn’t the most extreme one.
It’s the one you can repeat when you’re busy, tired, eating out, travelling and life isn’t perfect.
That’s why I keep coming back to the same three things:
PROTEIN.
STEPS.
TRAINING.
Boring? Maybe.
But boring works.
If you’re ready to stop starting over and want a system you can actually stick to…
DM me “CHANGE” and let’s talk.
24/08/2026
So today is August the 24th that's 236 days gone.
Which leaves 130 days left of 2027
That’s just over 18 weeks before we hit 2027.
And 18 weeks is a LOT of time when you stop waiting for the perfect moment and start doing the basics consistently.
I lost 9kg in just 9 weeks.
Now imagine what you could achieve with 130 days of:
Eating enough protein.
Getting your steps in.
Training consistently.
Keeping the small promises you make to yourself.
Again tomorrow.
Then again.
You don’t need to be perfect for 130 days.
You don’t need an extreme diet.
You don’t need to live in the gym.
And you definitely don’t need to wait until Monday.
You need a structure that works around your job, your family and your life.
Because January 1st is coming either way.
You can arrive there saying:
“I’m glad I started.”
Or you can arrive there wishing you had.
The next 130 days are going to pass regardless.
What are you going to do with them?
I’m looking for 3 busy professionals who are ready to make a serious change before 2027.
WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE IN 130 DAYS?
Comment “130” and I’ll be in touch.
