👨🏫 About Table Tennis Fun Club ‘T.T.F.C.’ Founder and over 70’s Player: Peter Aird
With over twenty years of competitive table tennis experience, Peter now coaches club-level players aged 50 and above, focusing on tackling specific challenges and enhancing tactical skills. Peter’s enthusiasm for table tennis was sparked at age 12 at Preston Youth Club in Glenrothes, Fife, Scotland, and continued throughout his studies, maritime career, and time working in the oil industry. At 49, he returned to the sport with renewed dedication, also drawing on his extensive background in football, rugby, and judo. Since 2012, Peter has played in first division and premier leagues in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Dundee, as well as regional and national veteran competitions through his fifties and sixties. His achievements include representing Scotland in annual UK Six Nations tournaments held in Wales, Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man, along with participation in the World Veterans Championships in New Zealand (Auckland), Spain (Alicante), the USA (Las Vegas), Italy (Rome), and European Veterans Championships hosted in Germany, Finland, Norway, Italy, Hungary, and Spain. As a certified Level 1 Table Tennis Scotland coach, Peter conducts weekly individual and group training sessions at local clubs and aims to complete his Level 2 coaching qualification by 2026. He remains dedicated to sharing his ongoing growth to inspire senior players at every skill level to elevate their game. Peter is eager to assist anyone interested in “Playing to Learn and Learning to Play” during any part of their table tennis journey.

Many adult table tennis players enjoy playing but have never been given a clear development pathway.
They practise, play matches and try different advice—but still struggle to see whether they are genuinely improving.
TTFC Level 1 Foundation Player™ is being developed to provide adult players with a structured, measurable way to build confidence, consistency and control—one element at a time.
This is not random practice. It is a complete step-by-step player development system.
Over the next eight weeks, (leading to a long awaited Beta test ) we’ll share how the TTFC and the Level 1 Foundation player programme works, the problems it is designed to solve and how Rally Consistency Score™ helps turn improvement into something players can see, track and believe in.

🏓 **What is the TTFC Progressive Player System™?**
We are creating a complete, step-by-step development pathway that helps adult table tennis players move from informal or inconsistent play towards greater control, confidence and understanding.
The system begins with our five-week **Level 1 Foundation Player™ Programme**, where players develop 12 essential elements—including grip, stance, footwork, foundation strokes, serve, return, purposeful practice and purposeful play.
Our aim is simple:
✅ Give every player a clear development pathway
✅ Make practice more structured and purposeful
✅ Build consistency, control and confidence
✅ Help players understand what they are improving and why
✅ Use RCS™ and player scorecards to make progress visible
✅ Support continued development beyond the Foundation level
This is not random practice or simply playing more games. It is an adult-focused system connecting guided learning, progressive drills, coach feedback, purposeful play and measurable improvement.
**Progressive Practice™. Purposeful Play™. Let your RCS™ show you the way.**
Over the coming weeks, we will explain how the Foundation Player™ Programme and each of its modules work as we prepare for beta testing.

# # # So what's next?
The focus now shifts from **development** to **delivery**.
Over the next several few weeks we will be refining the complete Modular programme within the current **Xperiencify Foundation Player Programme learning platform**, where all of the training, videos, quizzes, XP, badges and interactive learning experience will come together for Beta testing. (So all Coaches and Players who have responded interest, in Beta testing, we will be in touch ASAP)
During this period, I will be delivering the programme face-to-face through local clubs where i coach. Or for any other interested adult groups that may be interested.
This will assure every part of the Programme is tested, refined and improved with real players before the beta test and then official launch later this year.
This has always been about creating more than a coaching course.
It's about building a **complete player development system** that gives adult players a clear pathway to greater confidence, consistency and enjoyment of the game.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far. I'm excited to share the next stage with you.
