Fife Golf Trust manage 7 public golf courses on behalf of Fife Council. We are one of the biggest public golf facilities in Scotland and more than 160,000 rounds are played on our courses every year. The golf courses we manage are - Auchterderran, Cowdenbeath, Dunnikier, Glenrothes, Kinghorn, Lochore and Scoonie. We have an opportunity for a fixed term (4 months) Golf Starter to join our team at Lochore Meadows Golf Course.

The successful candidate will oversee the first tee of the golf course providing consistently high standard of customer service to members and visitors. They will be responsible for the administration of online tee management software, ensuring all golfers are added to the tee sheet accurately.

Candidates should have the following:

• Experience of working in a customer service environment ensuring that all customers are treated equally, fairly, respectfully and in a friendly manner.
• Ability to work well on their own.
• Ability to use online tee booking, membership and electronic point of sale software (full training will be provided).
• Ability to learn and use new digital systems as and when required.
• A team player who can fit into an existing squad and work well on their own.
• Highly motivated with excellent communication skills and timekeeping.
• A flexible approach and commitment to work weekends on a shift rota basis.
• To maintain good Health and Safety standards for themselves and colleagues.
• A good understanding of the game of golf.

In return we offer the following:

• 36 hours per week (including weekends)
