I’m absolutely gutted to be writing this post but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, the ICON Taekwon-Do Pitteuchar club is now permanently closed. 😢

I have really enjoyed teaching all of the students over the years and seeing you all progress into exceptional martial artists and I wish you all the very best in your Taekwondo journeys. 🙌🏼

Please get in touch on the ICON Taekwon-Do page for details on other classes that you can continue your training at and I will also post a full list of these over the next few days. 👍🏼

Just to let you know that I reviewed the poll and unfortunately the numbers are low so classes will not be running over the Summer Holidays, however I will keep you in the loop with other classes that will still be on if you do still want to train 💪🏻

ICON TAEKWON-DO SPARRING CAMP with Mr Fisher

We are running this event as follows. Please bring your own sparring equipment of you have it, however we will have spare equipment for those that dont.

Tuesday 7th July and Tuesday 14th July
6:30-8:30pm at Auchmuty High School, Glenrothes

For students aged 8 years and over

Free to all ICON members, students from ALL our clubs should attend if they can.

Dress code is dobok bottoms and a T-shirt

GRADING INFO...

The next grading takes place at Thornton Town Hall, Main Street, Thornton on Saturday 27th June.

Your instructor will inform you if you are grading or not. Do not attend without confirming this first.

The grading costs £20 which should be paid on arrival

TIMES:
1:30pm: White Belts and Orange Stripes
1:50pm:Orange Belts and Purple Stripes
2:10 pm:Purple Belts, Brown Stripes and Brown Belts
2:30pm: 8yrs and above White Belts - Green Stripes
3pm: Green Belt and Above

I just want to say a massive Good Luck to all of you that are Grading today 🙏🏻 I’m really sorry that I can’t be there to see you all but I’m sure you will all smash it 🥹👊🏼

Classes will be back on as normal on Monday night and then I am aware it will be the Summer Holidays, therefore I would appreciate it if parents could complete the poll in my next post by Monday lunchtime to advise when their child will available to train so I can get an idea of numbers 👍🏼

I appreciate that this is not ideal with the Grading taking place this weekend, but I would encourage you all to make up your training at other classes if you are able to this week 👊🏼

There is now only 2 weeks until the next coloured belt Grading so make sure you get along to training tonight for some practice 📚

8 years old and above - 6:15pm to 7:30pm

There is plenty of spaces available in both classes but in particular the 8 years and above class, so if you are looking to make a return to training or you know anyone who might be interested in starting their Taekwon-Do journey please bring them along for a free trial session or get them to contact the ICON Taekwon-Do Pitteuchar page 💬
