Evan Tish raced the British super series grand final at the weekend
The format is the top 20 men top 20 juniors (u20)and top 10 youths (u18) do teir 1 race

The men ranked 21-30
Juniors 21-40
Youths 11-30 do teir 2 race

Evan got a wild card entry so was ranked 99th out of everyone racing so had to start at very back

He finished 3rd overall in teir 2 race and his time put him as 3rd Best youth out of both races finishing 25 th overall.

Another excellent performance against world class competition as there were world champions and medalists and European champions and medalists racing.

Great results from club members taking on the Top Of The Mourne standard distance National Series event today. Michael Nugent with a 1st in his age group. Also David Turtle and Larry McAteer take 2nd places in their AG as well. Great results on a tough, wet and soggy course.

Great weekend for Kiyomi Tosh at the Irish Cycling Championships. Getting a 1st in the TT Sat morning then 3rd Sat afternoon in the road race followed by a 4th in the crit race on Sunday! Such a tough weekend and she is still a junior 😵‍💫

Kieran going from strength to strength with a superb result at today's Peninsula sprint distance at Donaghadee. 11th overall and 4th in his AG. Next stop Top of the Mourne.

So the Tosh family has been busy over the last few weeks.

Kiyomi and Evan were racing in Irish youth champs.

Kiyomi had a brilliant swim and bike starting run in lead pack despite being a year young and was comfortably holding but cramps caused her to slow eventually finishing 4 th.

Evan was second out of the swim then destroyed the field to win by 2 mins.

Kiyomi also won the cycling u14 Ulster road race champs and time trial champs.

On Sunday Evan was racing in Nyon Switzerland on Saturday and had a really good race - came 4th had a sprint finish with the xterra world champion. Excellent performance against world class opposition.

Good results for Kieran and Larry at today's standard distance tri hosted by Setanta tri club. Both in the top 10 in their AG with Kieran taking 2nd place slot. Well done gents.

All the best for those racing tomorrow at Omeath. Hopefully we look as good as Philip Brines coming out of the water at last weekend's race at Omagh tri 👌
