Today we officially opened the new Glasgow Life Museums Community Display at Kelvin Hall. The display has been curated by Invisible Cities, a social enterprise that supports people who have experienced homelessness and social hardship to become walking tour guides in their own cities.
This display brings together voices from our community – tour guides, trainees, volunteers, and participants from the Meet Me in Govan walking group. Each object you see is connected to a personal story of homelessness, support, and tourism, and how these experiences shape who we are today.
Drop in and see it at any time during our opening hours.
