🏡 HOME GAME! And what a game it was!

The boys were back on home turf today, which was a brilliant change — although nobody was quite prepared for just how warm it was! ☀️🥵

From the first whistle, the boys were ON FIRE! 🔥 The passing was sharp, the movement was fantastic, and the communication across the pitch was brilliant. The first half was full of energy, teamwork and some great football! 👏⚽️

The second half was a different challenge, with the boys taking their foot off the gas slightly and a strong Milton side battling their way back into the game. 💪

But credit to both teams — they gave absolutely everything and played some fantastic football! 🙌

A brilliant game, great effort from all the boys, and an exciting match to watch from start to finish!

After a brilliant six weeks off the friendlies we have played , the wait was finally over on the league to start — and WOW, what a way to come back! 🙌🔥

A NEW LEAGUE. SAME BROX SPIRIT. 💪

These boys were absolutely FANTASTIC today! The link-up play was 🔥, the energy was off the scale and the enthusiasm was SECOND TO NONE!

But what made today even more special was the way they played FOR EACH OTHER. Every goal, tackle, pass, save and bit of hard work was celebrated together. The boys were cheering each other on and celebrating each other’s success — exactly what you want to see from a team! ❤️👏

It was a BRILLIANT start to the new league, but the boys know this is only the beginning. The hard work continues, the momentum needs to keep building and we’re ready for the challenge! 💪🔥

This is a player we’ve known all about for years. Having played alongside some of our lads in 4s and faced him countless times over the years, one thing has always been clear… Aidan is an absolute powerhouse. 💥

Strong in the tackle, relentless in the battle, and a player who never gives less than 100%. He’s already settled straight back in with the boys and has hit the ground running since pre-season training returned.

This is a massive addition to the squad, and we’re buzzing to have him wearing the red and white.

The squad just got even stronger… and we’re only getting started. 😏

As we get closer to our move to Edinburgh and prepare for the challenge of the Pele League, we’re still on the lookout for a few top Advanced players to add to an already exciting squad.

This is a group of boys who refuse to stand still. Week after week they continue to improve, compete, and push each other to new levels. The standards are high, the commitment is there, and the ambition is clear.

We’re not rebuilding — we’re strengthening.

As we take the next step from the Advanced West Lothian League into the Pele League, we’re looking for players who want to be part of something special, challenge themselves against the best, and help drive this team forward.

🔥 WEEK 15 – FINAL LEAGUE GAME vs SYNGENTA COLTS 🔥

And just like that, the final league game before the summer break is complete! Not only was this the boys’ last game of the season, but it was also their final league fixture in the West Lothian Advanced League.

This week brought a unique challenge. Coaches and parents took a step back and stayed silent on the sidelines, leaving the boys to lead themselves on the pitch. And what a job they did! 👏

The communication, encouragement, teamwork, and determination were there for all to see. The boys backed each other, worked hard for one another, and showed exactly how much they have grown as a team. No instructions from the sidelines—just the boys trusting themselves, making decisions, and rising to the occasion.

⚽ And once again, they delivered a fantastic performance.

But this isn’t just about one game.

Let’s talk about the journey.

Since March, these boys have faced some of the toughest competition around. Week after week they have tested themselves against high-level opposition, challenged themselves, learned, developed, and never stopped improving. The difference between the team that started this league campaign and the team that finished it is unbelievable.

Every training session.
Every match.
Every challenge.

They have embraced it all and come out stronger.

💪 The confidence has grown.
💪 The teamwork has grown.
💪 The quality has grown.
💪 The belief has grown.

Most importantly, they have done it together.

A massive thank you goes to our incredible coaches, first aiders, and parents. The support these boys receive is second to none, and it plays a huge part in helping them become the players and teammates they are today.

To the boys: hold your heads high. You have represented yourselves, your team, and your club brilliantly throughout the season. The hard work, commitment, and attitude you’ve shown have made everyone proud.

This may be the end of the league campaign…

But we’re nowhere near finished. 😏

After a short break, it’s back to work, back to training, and back to chasing more success.

🔥 Week 14 League Game - Midweek Clash vs East Calder Colts 🔥

Wednesday night saw the boys make the trip to take on a strong East Calder Colts side under the lights.

The game got off to a slow start, with East Calder coming out strong, but this squad never knows when to quit. After digging deep and taking on board the advice from Coaches Kerr and John at half-time, the boys came flying out for the second half looking like a completely different team.

From then on, the football we know and love was back on display. The passing was sharp, the link-up play was excellent, and the energy, effort, and encouragement between teammates never stopped. Every player battled for each other and showed fantastic character against tough opposition.

💪⚽ The determination and team spirit on show were outstanding, with every player giving absolutely everything for the badge.

🧤 A massive shoutout to Frederick, who once again stepped up to cover in goals. Time after time he came to the rescue with some incredible saves, keeping the boys in the game and showing great bravery and composure throughout.

🔴⚪️Keep working hard, keep believing, and keep playing for each other. On to the next one! 🔴⚪️

Week 13 – League Match vs Bathgate Reds 🔴⚽

What a performance from the boys today against Bathgate Reds!

From the very first whistle, the energy, determination and effort were absolutely incredible. Every single player gave everything for the team, worked their socks off for each other, and played some fantastic football. The goals were outstanding, but what impressed us most was the teamwork, attitude and desire on display all over the pitch.

These boys just keep getting better and better every week. The progress they’re making is unbelievable, and it’s a pleasure to watch them grow in confidence every time they step onto the pitch.

A massive amount of credit also has to go to Bathgate Thistle 2016s. They are always one of our favourite teams to play against and today’s game was no different. Their players, coaches and supporters are a real credit to the club, and we always look forward to these fixtures.

A special shoutout to Frederick, who stepped up between the sticks with Leo away supporting Scotland. He answered the call brilliantly and put in a superb shift for the team. That’s what football is all about—everyone stepping up for each other when needed.

Another week, another huge performance, another step forward for this amazing group of boys. The hard work on the training pitch is paying off and the future is looking bright! 🌟

Now it’s time to swap club colours for national colours as the boys stay up late to roar on Scotland tonight. Make some noise, enjoy the occasion, and let’s hope for a big result!
