Well played everyone who joined our Sunday social! It was a great turn out for our first session so we’re excited to see it grow every week.

Glasgow Social Touch is officially live 🏉
Starting Sunday, we’re running open, casual touch rugby games every week. Perfect if you’re looking for extra game time, extra weekend fitness, or wanting to give the sport a try for the first time.
No club commitments, no fees—just turn up and play.
📍 Where: Glasgow Green

💰 Cost: Completely FREE
We’ve set up a Spond group to help us track numbers each week, but there’s no requirement to sign up—you’re welcome to just show up on the day.

The chickens are very excited that we have 3 opportunities to win some silverware in the final week of the Glasgow league this year.
Starting with the men’s plate final against Lions Claw
Followed by the mixed plate final against Centurions Nerva
Finally our Thunderburds team with will play the Blue T**s for the women’s title and cup final

Chrissy is our only teammate representing England this year. As one of our most experienced players, we’re looking forward to seeing our fellow Chicken on the pitch, calling moves and scoring tries.

Cerys is a strong defender and playing permanent wing alongside her fellow hen Ellen in the mixed open. This is her first Scotland cap so we’re excited to watch her play!

Ananya is one of our hens and is playing in the women’s open division. Despite a recent ankle injury, we know she’s going to do great!

Ellen has been playing touch since she was a kid in Aberdeen and still plays and refs rugby. She usually plays mid or link but this week is branching out as permanent wing for the mixed open!
We’re looking forward to seeing her catch some great wing balls!

Cameron is relatively new to touch but has quickly become one of our best links. He’s got some cracking long passes and despite his English accent, will be representing Scotland in the Men’s 30s.

David is the President and founding father of the Chickens!! He’s got 19 Scotland caps under his belt with the Men’s 30s and 35s. This year he’s going for his 20th cap with the Men’s 40s!
