Congratulation Jack and Kevin from Pollok parkrun team 😊
All the best for the future
This morning at pollok parkrun it was their 832nd event where 437 people ran, jogged and walked the beautiful undulating 2 lap course.
A special parkrun for me and my partner Kevin because while up in Glasgow to watch the commonwealth games, we're celebrating our 7th anniversary this week. Even more special that I asked him to marry me.... He said yes!!! 💍
First finisher was James Tucker of City of York AC with a time of 16:13. First female was Morag Miller of Central AC with a time of 17:53.
The were a few milestones today starting with Miranda Cambell running her 25th, Margaret Wallace ran her 50th, Rob Lowe ran his 50th, Kieran Hunter ran his 50th, Helen Caire Wharton ran her 300th and Lucy Brandt ran her 350th. Congratulations everyone.
Out of the 437 runners today there was 124 first timers with 22 doing parkrun for the first time. There was also 38 people that ran a new PB/course PB. Well done everyone.
A massive thank you to our Hi-viz heros for volunteering today. Without these volunteers parkrun wouldn't happen.
Many thanks
Jack
