We will have a Dr in the club on THURSDAY 10th Sept from 6:30pm doing medical for any boxers needing them .

Any club or boxer looking to get a medical done please contact the club (DM) for a spot to be booked . If you just show up you might not be seen as time is limited .

Which means BoxHiiT is back with a bang! 💥

Our BoxHiiT sessions mirror the training our boxers are putting in — high energy, hard work and great fun.

Everyone is welcome — no experience needed and NO booking required!

We even mopped the floor tonight for it …

The start of the new season means presentations time for us .

First award of the night was the President (Andy Anderson) Shield, Andy choose Lee Mcwhinnie this year in recognition of the progress and development that he has made in the season . 👏🏼

Well done Lee.

We then presented Kobi Connolly and Thomas Flannigan with a small token of thanks for assisting as coaches in the club, leading the BoxHiiT classes and assisting Gary and Barry at shows .

Finally, the Bert Watt Memorial Cup is presented to the boxer of the year at the club. Based not just on performance, development or bouts but also on commitment to training, work ethic and representing the club well in general and worthy of the award in Bert’s name . This years winner is Logan Simpson 👏🏼 congratulations Logan.
Club ambassador and top fan 😉 Cruel Johno also presented Logan with a voucher, as he has done to every winner of the cup , for MM Ringwear, our thanks to Johno for his support .

The rest of the team will be hoping to pick up some silverware throughout the season from bouts and championships I’m sure !!

First night of Pre-Season can only mean one thing … Beep Test !!!

Followed by a time run and then some 1min max reps on a circuit !

The GBA amateurs start their pre-season tonight … which means the seasons not far away !

Also … our BoxHiiT class is back with a bang …some new bags added to the gym and a bit of paint and DIY done over the summer means we are good to go Monday evening 7:30pm …

Looking forward to seeing some of the regular faces back and hopefully some new faces !
