You don’t need to be a good singer.

You just need to be their singer. 🤍

To your baby, your voice is comfort. It’s home. It’s familiar. They’ll never care if you miss a note, because to them, your voice is their favourite sound.

𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 is a gentle, nurturing class for little ones from birth to 18 months and the grown-ups who love them. Together we’ll stretch, share, enjoy a story and learn beautiful songs you’ll actually want to sing at home, not just the same nursery rhymes on repeat.

It’s an hour to slow down, connect with your baby, meet other mums and fill your own cup too.

This month is extra special as Singing Sunbeams celebrates one whole year at Nest on 21st July. 💛 We’ve loved watching so many little ones grow, families blossom and friendships begin over the past year, and we can’t wait to welcome even more of you.

✨ Tuesdays at 10:00am & 12:00pm
✨ Suitable from birth to 18 months
✨ Included in your Nest membership or available with a class pass or drop-in.

Come and be part of the next chapter, we’d love to sing with you. 🎶

I used to nod along when people said “sleep when the baby sleeps” like it was some secret hack.

Then I had a baby who slept for 20 minutes at a time, at completely random hours, and I realised the advice wasn’t a hack. It was just something people say because there isn’t an easy answer.

Nobody tells you that some nights you’ll just sit there, wide awake at 3am, wondering if what’s happening is normal.

It is, by the way. Or it isn’t, and there’s a reason for it. Either way, you don’t have to figure it out alone at 3am with a phone and fourteen open tabs.

That’s kind of the whole point of our Sleep Clinic led by .sleep. Not another list of tips you’ve already tried. Just a room of people who get it, and a sleep consultant who’ll actually listen to what’s going on with your baby.

Comment SLEEP and we’ll send you all the details.

One of the beautiful things about attending a regular baby class is watching familiar faces become friends.

Week after week, babies begin to recognise the people around them. The same songs, the same smiles, the same little faces beside them on the mat.

While they may still be tiny, these repeated experiences help babies feel safe, secure and confident in new environments.

And it’s not just the babies who benefit.

For many parents, these weekly classes become so much more than an activity. They become a reason to get out of the house, a chance to connect with other parents who understand this season of life, and often the beginning of lasting friendships.

Our sensory classes are designed to nurture both baby and parent, creating a warm, welcoming space where you can slow down, connect and find your village.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, why not come along and see what it’s all about? We offer a free trial so you can experience the magic of Nest for yourself.

In an age where new mums turn to AI for answers about sleep, feeding, weaning and milestones, I wonder what we’re slowly losing.

For thousands of years, motherhood wasn’t learnt through algorithms, apps and chat bots.

It was passed from woman to woman.

Around kitchen tables. On walks. While one mother held another’s baby. Through stories, shared experience and quiet reassurance.

Today, we have access to more information than any generation before us.

But information isn’t the same as wisdom.

Wisdom lives in lived experience.

It’s hearing, “Mine did that too.”

It’s borrowing someone else’s calm when you’ve lost your own.

It’s slowly learning to trust your intuition instead of searching for one more answer.

AI can be an incredible tool. I use it myself.

But no technology can replace the lineage of maternal wisdom that has always been passed from one generation of women to the next.

Maybe what mothers need most isn’t more information.

Maybe it’s more community.
