It's time for one of the most exciting techniques in karate—the Mae Geri (front snap kick)!
A powerful kick isn't just about throwing your leg up; it requires incredible balance, control, and a lightning-fast snap.
1️⃣ Stand Tall: Begin by finding your balance and standing tall in shizen tai (natural standing stance).
2️⃣ Focus Your Posture: Keep your head up and your shoulders down and relaxed.
3️⃣ Chamber the Knee: Lift your kicking knee high up in front of you. The higher the knee, the better the kick!
4️⃣ The Snap: Snap your foot straight out with power and precision.
5️⃣ The Rechamber: Don't let your leg just drop! Snap it right back to that same high knee position.
6️⃣ Stick the Landing: Put your foot down with control and finish standing tall.
