Unlucky to our ladies Pamela Douglas Sheila Kilpatrick and Margaret Macdonald who lost in final v Crookston on Crookston on Monday in East Renfrewshire 2 bowl Triples, great effort against a very strong team.

This Saturday we hold the John and Pat Pilkington trophy 10.30 for 11am start. The family will be providing a snack during the day. Club colours please.

We are just going in cars now for the RBA finals at Abercorn on Saturday 18th, then back to club for celebrations hopefully.

Congratulations to P Douglas S Kilpatrick M MacDonald who won their semi final at Neilston v Giffnock on Monday in East Renfrewshire 2 bowl Triples, final is next Monday 6.30pm at Crookston v Crookston, all the best ladies, I'm sure they would appreciate any support.

Draw done for John and Pat Pilkington trophy on Saturday 11th July, 10.30 for 11am start, played to a finish, club colours please.

Glasgow League started tonight v Bishopbriggs home and away, home team won 14-11, away team lost 17-10, solid start anyway.

Friendly v Stamperland this Saturday away, if you can get down there for 1.30pm.

Busy week for ladies, all the best to everyone.

For the gents we play our first Glasgow League game this Thursday v Bishopbriggs home and away.

We are also down at Stamperland on Saturday for our annual friendly.

On Sunday our ladies and gents will battle each other for the Margaret Gray memorial trophy starting at 2pm, let's hope the weather is kind.

A tough day for our ladies last week in Bowls Scotland district finals at Rutherglen, unfortunately we lost in all three disciplines, fours, Over 55 singles and Over 55 fours, well done getting that far and be proud of yourselves.
Tomorrow night see Gillian Wharton and Margaret Macdonald playing at Bishopbriggs in GBA pairs 2nd round v Kingswood, all the best.
Glasgow League continues this Friday when our ladies travel to Langside.

Our gents will play Elderslie Wallace in the RBA Triples final at Abercorn on Saturday 18th July 2.30pm start, there may be a bus going down, will see what response is.

GBA Millennium Triples starts tomorrow night where our gents are playing at Fairfield in first round.

On Saturday we have our annual friendly v Busby away, hopefully everyone has a successful week in whatever they are involved in.

Update on external competitions

Well done to Peter Blair Charlie Gorman Alan Gray who beat Hawkhead 17-6 in the RBA semi final at Gourock Park last night.

Final is at Abercorn on Saturday 18th July 2.30pm start. Other semi finals in RBA being played this Friday when opponent will be known.

Gillian Wharton unfortunately lost her semi final in East Renfrewshire on Monday v Croftfoot at Neilston.

Better news yesterday as Aileen Hume and Gillian Wharton won their West of Scotland quarter final v Stamperland at Giffnock.
