We are still awaiting confirmation of one scorecard to update some shot difference but it is not affecting the league standings going into Fridays games.

🏆 | ROXBURGH TOP TEN

Please find the attached draw for the Roxburgh Top Ten, which begins on Friday 10th July. Venues have been allocated for all rounds, to which clubs would be advised to provide a marker and someone who can send the scores back in at the end of the evening.

The Top 10 will continue in a traditional format, which means teams will be playing as a 10 instead of as individuals, and will proceed to the following rounds together. As such, the scoring criteria is set below:

Singles - 21 shots
Pairs - 17 ends
Triples - 15 ends
Fours - 17 ends

Each discipline will be playing for 2 points. In the event that the games finish 4 points apiece, then the deciding factor will be total shots scored across the 4 games. If it happens to be a draw at that stage, the deciding factor will then be the team who wins the singles.

All games will kick off at the normal time of 6.30pm. Good luck to all teams!

HALF YEARLY MEETING

For the attention of all club reps, the half yearly meeting will take place at Hyndland BC on Monday 13th July, 7.15pm

There will be a wider email that will include all the particulars and documentation to go along with the meeting and will be circulated in the coming days.

Additionally, the Roxburgh Top Ten draw has been complete and will be published later tonight after venues have been allocated.

FINAL ROXBURGH LEAGUE STANDINGS

Congratulations to Westerton, Singer, Old Kilpatrick and Maryhill who have all qualified for the semi final play-offs.

Semi finals will re-commence on Friday 7th August to coincide with the Sim & Son semi finals.

Westerton will face Old Kilpatrick on Killermont whilst Singer will play Maryhill on Partick.

In the meantime, draws will be out shortly for Roxburgh Top Ten which will begin on Friday 10th July.

ROXBURGH LEAGUE STANDINGS - FINAL WEEK

Section A hangs in the balance with a number of teams who can still qualify for the play-offs. In Section B, Singer have already qualified for the play-offs after their results last week, so now we just have to wait and see who joins them, and if they can hang on to top spot in the section.
