Congratulations to all our winners on Sunday in the second edition of the NWBL Championship Finals. Thanks go to Killermont for the superb hospitality on the day, and thanks to all who turned out to support a day where an incredible 10 clubs were represented!

Google sheets have now been updated with all the winners. A reminder that games start at 6.00pm gentlemen.

Once again I’ll reiterate, it’s really important that host venues report scores to me ASAP so that I can update the draws each week.

Please be reminded formats as normal will be:

Junior Singles (under 30s) - 21up
Singles - 21up
Pairs - 17 ends
Triples - 15 ends
Fours - 17 ends
Senior Fours (over 55s) - 15 ends

In addition the substitute rule is in line with Bowls Scotland stage 2 rules.

Google sheets have now been updated with all the winners.

I think from feedback tonight it may be pertinent to try and start earlier next week rather than waiting till the following week.

I have changed the time for the games to 6.00pm next week, however I am aware this is of slight short notice so just ask that everyone competing can do their very best to make the earlier start and host venues use common sense for any slight late comers who may have slightly further to travel.

🏆 | LEAGUE PLAYOFF FINALS

Congratulations to Hyndland Bowling Club on retaining the Sim & Son league title against Old Kilpatrick this afternoon, and to Old Kilpatrick for winning the Roxburgh league in their first season.

Thanks must go to President Willie Martin and all the volunteers at Hyndland Bowling Club for hosting today’s final, and of course our sponsors Stevie Sim and The Roxburgh Group for their continued support.

Once again a big well done to all teams who made it into the playoffs for this season. Details above of all games. It’s sure to be a cracking atmosphere with full greens across the board for both the semi finals and final.

Congratulations to Old Kilpatrick who were winners of this years Roxburgh Top Ten against University.

NWBL SIM & SON LEAGUE

Congratulations to Old Kilpatrick, Hyndland, Killermont and Radnor Park who all progress from their respective sections in the Sim & Son Leagues.

Both runners up spots came down to shots on a bit of a mad night to finish off the regular season.

League tables have been updated on the app.

All other details for semi finals will be out tomorrow.

Well done to all teams throughout the season in a long hard campaign.
