Next few outings for the band

Next Saturday people a day not to be missed

On behalf of the officers and members of Bridgeton No Surrender Flute Band we would to thank every band that accepted our invite to take take part in our anniversarry parade yesterday. Special thanks go out to the two visiting bands from Northern Ireland that made the trip over and hopefully enjoyed themselves and have a safe trip home.

Thanks to all the marshalls that gave their time to come help us out. Members from Shettleston Abod and Cambuslang Abod Kirkmuirhill and Glenrothes for making the trip through to help us out plus all the volunteers that offered to help with the marshalling duties.

Thanks also go out to everybody that came from far and wide to support not only us but every band on parade. Got to say the busiest Bridgetons been for far too long. Hopefully its the start to get Bridgeton back to the way it used to be.

Judging by the comments and messages all bands enjoyed the marathon that the parade turned out to be and the weather was more on our side this year than the last one.

So with that said date for the diary Saturday 27th March 2027

Lets not forget our past members and close friends who are sadly no longer with us.
To all our facebook friends who have supported the band through thick and thin long may it continue.
