Uddingston Shinty Club is launching a community consultation on exciting proposals to transform Porterswell Playing Fields into a multi-purpose sports and community facility.

Ideas being explored include: ✅ Shinty and grass pitches ✅ 4G/Astro facilities ✅ Floodlighting ✅ Clubhouse and changing facilities ✅ Public toilets and parking ✅ Improved walking and cycling routes ✅ Enhanced green spaces for the whole community

This project is for the Uddingston community, and we want local people to help shape its future. The final proposal will be guided by the views, priorities and ideas shared through our community consultation.

📝 The survey has launched, followed by a programme of community engagement events, drop-in sessions and discussions over the coming weeks.

Whether you're a sports participant, local resident, parent, dog walker or simply care about the future of our community spaces, we encourage you to get involved and make your voice heard.
