NWBL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Emails have now been sent out to all nominated club reps for entries into this years NWBL Championships with all the information. Please note that the Junior Singles will continue to be Under30s.

Entries should be in no later than 31st July 2026.

GLASGOW SENIOR FOURS CHAMPIONS | 🏆

Congratulations to Kenny Wilson, Stuart Taggart, Ronnie Scott and Alistair Greer on a terrific victory in today’s final against Yarrow Rec!

Unfortunately it was not to be for the triple of Kevin Bain, Darren Gualtieri and Callum Taggart who unfortunately lost out to a good Rutherglen team.

Thanks to everyone in the club, friends and family who came to support both teams in the heat today, all the players very much appreciated it.

We have two Hyndland teams competing in the Glasgow Bowling Association Championship Finals this afternoon. It would be brilliant to get a strong support down at Bellahouston to cheer them both on.

ROXBURGH LEAGUE STANDINGS - FINAL WEEK

All up to date results and tables for week 8 have now been updated and can be found at the link below.

Section A hangs in the balance with a number of teams who can still qualify for the play-offs. In Section B, Singer have already qualified for the play-offs after their results last week, so now we just have to wait and see who joins them, and if they can hang on to top spot in the section.

A great week for the club as District 23’s Finals came to a conclusion.

In the gents competitions we will be represented at Ayr Northfield in 3 disciplines.

Well done to Drew Murdoch in the gents junior singles, Peter Murray in the gents singles, and Darren Gualtieri & Ryan Gualtieri in the gents pairs.

Good luck to all District 23 representatives when the time comes! 👊🏻

The National Championships kick-off for us in early August but we will keep everyone updated throughout that week as usual!

Hyndland host the first Glasgow game of the season today.

Glasgow Bowling Association take on Dumfriesshire at 2pm.

The bar will be opened and a day of great bowls ahead featuring some of our very own talent. 💪🏻

Get along have a beer and enjoy the weather. 🍻

On behalf of President Grahame Hogg, we welcome all members and invited guests to this seasons opening day. We hope to see everyone out for the first bowls of the season.
