It might look like September is going to be a little quieter at Cambuslang Rugby Club, with our Men’s 1st XV on the road to Oban and then taking a wee break over the September weekend…

BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN THE RUGBY STOPS! 🙌🏉

Our fantastic Junior Section will be keeping the rugby going at Coats Park, with plenty of action, energy and young players taking to the pitch! 👏🔥

Our 2nd XV fixtures are still to be confirmed, so keep your eyes peeled for updates. 👀

🏉 WHAT’S ON THIS WEEKEND | CAMBUSLANG RFC 💚❤️💛

Another packed weekend of rugby ahead — and a historic one for Cambuslang RFC, with two huge National League milestones for our Junior Section! 🙌

⭐️ On Saturday, our U18 Boys play their first HOME fixture in National League competition, welcoming Dundee to Coats Park for a 2pm kick-off.

Then on Sunday, our U18 Girls make their National League debut, also against Dundee — another fantastic milestone and a proud moment for the club. ❤️

These are landmark occasions for Cambuslang and a brilliant reflection of the continued development of our Junior Section, our players and coaches. 👏

There’s plenty more rugby across the weekend too, with our Micros and Minis in action, Boys and Girls fixtures across the age groups, plus our 1XV travelling to Strathendrick on Saturday.

A close encounter with the select side which unfortunately saw them take the spoils in a narrow 32-31 win, nonetheless some great rugby on display🏉

A fantastic day for the club and a tremendous milestone for the Women’s section, well done to everybody involved in making it possible. Special mention to Abbie Fountain who organised the fixture!👏

Some snaps from Saturdays league-opener against Cumbernauld📸

A tight encounter with a strong Cumbernauld side which saw the visitors unfortunately take the points on this occasion with a last minute winner.

The boys dug deep to take back the lead at the half after trailing by 3 tries early on, but unfortunately it wasn’t quite enough.

We go again next week where we face Strathendrick away, no doubt the lads will be hard at work to get ready💪
