BLACK BELT EXAM RESULTS 🥋✅

We had a full weekend of Black Belt exams at the club.

As always, a tough test for the candidates involved, who were put through their paces from start to finish.

Years of hard work and months of focused preparation all came to this moment.

With that being said, we’re delighted to announce our newest Black Belt promotions:

▪️Ross Campbell - 1st Dan (Kickboxing)
▪️Megan Moore - 3rd Degree (TaeKwon-Do)

An amazing milestone to reach! What an incredible achievement. We’re so proud of you both! 👏🏻🧡

WKU & GCO INTERNATIONAL RESULTS 🏆

We had a team of 7 taking part in a Kickboxing competition this weekend. The 2 day event is one of the largest of its kind in the country and our team did amazing!

Medal Tally:

🥇 x5 Gold Medals
🥈 x1 Silver Medal
🥉 x3 Bronze Medals

Some great match-ups for our students who held their own across multiple different events.

A huge thank you to our coaches and spectators for the continuous support and encouragement at these type of events.

This weekend we are taking a team of students to compete in this exciting kickboing tournament!

For those taking part, please read the information below...

🗓️ Date: Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st May

⏰ Time: Start Time @ 10am

📍 Location: The Braehead Arena, Glasgow, G51 4BN

👀 Spectator Fee: £15 per spectator (prepay online)

🥊 What to Wear (Competitors): Kickboxing Club T-shirt & Black Kickboxing Trousers for Points & Light Con’ Events, Club T-Shirt & Shorts for Low Kick Light Event

🎒 Equipment Required (Competitors): Points Gloves & 10oz Gloves, Foot Pads, Head Guard, Gum Shield, Shin Guards, Groin Guard/Breast Protectors

➡️ Events:
- Saturday = Low Kick Light
- Sunday = Points Fighting & Light Contact

⚖️ Official Competitor Registration:
- The official registration/weigh-in is on Friday 29th May at the Braehead Arena between 6pm-8pm
- Students can also weigh-in on the mornings of the competition too if they choose to do - we recommend attending on the Friday evening

ITF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS 🏆 ✅

A super day at the ITF National TaeKwon-Do championships where we had 10 competitors take to the mats and represent the club at the most prestigious TaeKwon-Do competition of the year in Scotland.

Lots of positive performances and everyone represented themself and the club with pride. Congratulations to you all, you were awesome! 👏🏻
