When we talk about yin, recently it’s all been about regulating the nervous system but, it’s so much more than just that.
I’ve even had a review I think it was ClassPass where someone said:
“Teacher was OK but, I feel she just needs more information about the nervous system” I just responded “Thanks”.

For the past 30 years I have practised yoga and taught for over 25 of them. Seen so many people walk through the doors of so many studios.
When I watch people it’s a melting pot on any given day, some dealing with heartache, some angry, some dealing with recovery, some just happy, birthdays, new babies, grief, divorce, some abandoned.
And I have to adapt to whatever is walking in. The space in the studio is & I know this sound a bit OTT for some of you but, it’s sacred, there is love in the walls of that little cabin…which I need to paint again 😂

I suppose we are all so used to dealing with everyone’s input, so the next time you come to class have a think about the person next to you. Think LOVE & have a bloody marvellous Sundays.

If you want to come to class but can’t afford a drop- in message me we can think of some donation.

There are going to be some adjustments for July & August.
Change is always good, keeps the soul fresh.

Yoga isn’t just asana. It embodies energy and grace. As teachers we are asked to tap into many aspects of ourselves as we share.
Kundalini gives me another pathway to embrace this energetic flow of life.
August sees the next festival in Edinburgh, if you haven’t experienced the festival give it a try.

This solstice we are taking on a different celebration by learning all about the miracle of your vagus nerve, and how to destress and regulate your body and emotions for optimal well-being.

We will be learning about the ‘Window of tolerance.’
Come and join Colette & Jillian as we discuss stress management. We are too often discussing managing our stressors — the things that we feel create stress. The truth of the matter is that stressors will always exist in our life, and it is our inability to process stress effectively that wreaks havoc in our lives.

Within the time of reset you will balance the chakras through sound medicine. Soothe your energies through Sekhem/Reiki medicine, taking the tools away with us that allow us to deal with day to day, week by week stresses in a healthier way.

Today I choose Yin….and my body is still thanking me.

Emotional body.
We spend so much time talking about muscles and pain and - fixing things.

This morning I spent the most beautiful hour with very special client who gives each day all day, both in her professional life but also in her private life.
She smiles from the heart.
She speaks from the heart.
But today she was tired.

It was all about caring for her today and using therapy skills from old to bring her back to herself.
Life is such a precious thing when we get to help others.

2 big days.

Whoever thought learning to teach could be so:
Tiring, emotional, insightful, funny, rewarding, demanding, bounding, abalicious, inventive, brain-draining, friendship making kind of weekend.

All in a good cause🙏🏼🫶🏽🙏🏼
