🏆 Challenge Cup action for the boys again this morning! ⚽️
A big game with top spot & a semi-final place up for grabs.
It was a cagey opening 20 minutes, with both teams battling to get a foothold in the game. There were some good moments at both ends, but neither keeper was really troubled, & we went into half-time at 0-0.
The second half was a completely different story! 🔥
A change of shape saw the boys come out all guns blazing & Lleyton opened the scoring inside the first minute with a great finish. Just two minutes later, Pennie absolutely smashed one into the top corner from the edge of the box to make it 2-0.
Straight from kick-off, Lleyton saw his effort take a deflection & nestle into the net for 3-0. Moorlands looked rattled & the boys were relentless!
Lleyton then completed his hat-trick with a cracking finish before Olly made it 5-0 with a composed finish. What a 15 minutes! 👏🏼🔥
Five minutes later, Sam calmly slotted one into the bottom corner to make it 6-0.
A brilliant second-half performance from the boys sees them secure top spot & book their place in the Challenge Cup semi-final with a game to spare! 🏆❤️
