A very poor and disappointing result to start our league season.

Our only goal came from Kaiden in the first half to bring us back level from 1-0 down. A delightful finish to lob the keeper from distance.

Ultimately, individual errors and lack of doing the dirty side of the game, meant we walked away with nothing to show.

The game was abandoned with 8 mins left of normal time due to Jack being wiped out by the keeper. A horrendous challenge which caused massive concern. Thankfully Jack managed to walk off the park. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

First league game of the season!

Probably a fair result last night, with both teams earning a draw.

Glenvale have been flying in the league, played 3 won 3 so far this season.

Quite a scrappy affair, neither team really on top. Breakthrough for us came in the 2nd half with great work from Tam and Dylan, and David bursting through from midfield to give us the lead.

Minutes later we had an unusual mixup at the back, giving Glenvale the opportunity to equalise.

Credit to both teams for the effort and attitude.

Big week of training ahead for first round of the cup next week, and the journey back down to Lesmahagow.

We’re delighted to welcome Jayden Kinnear, who joins us from Barrhead YFC. ⚽️

Jayden is another signing that highlights the fantastic partnership developing between the two clubs and the pathway it is creating for players.

Since signing, Jayden played every minute for us before unfortunately picking up an injury recently — a great indication of how quickly he has settled into the squad. 💪

We’re hoping to have Jayden back available from next week and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch.
