Here are the results from this years Pros Day. Thank you to everyone who took. It’s really appreciated.

Prizes were as follows:

We would like to remind all members still involved in our matchplay competitions that semi finals are expected to be completed by 31 August.
This will allow us as much scope as possible to ensure that all four finals are completed by 27 September.

🏆🏆Championship Weekend🏆🏆

Today saw the final of the Club Championship and Wilkins Trophy.

In the finals were:
Club Championship Paul James v David Casey
Wilkins Trophy : Mark McGinley v Ishan Rohatgi

After a rainy start, the players set for the first round with Paul leading David 3up after 18. Ishan was leading 4up after their first 18.

Both matches set off again to complete their matches with Paul winning on the 11th to finish the tie 9/7. Paul played pretty steady throughout the match and David being unlucky on some of the holes.

In the Wilkins, Ishan finished 6/4 with a great shot into 14 finishing 6 foot from the hole.

Ishan becomes the first junior to win the Wilkins trophy, so next year he’s setting his sights on the club championship.

Paul has now won the club championship 5 times in total and today made it 3 in a row.

Well done to everyone who qualified and well done again to Paul and Ishan on their victories.
