Shona Barr and Alistair MacDonald have been at the centre of the Glasgow tango scene for many years. There also occassional visits from other tango maestros.

They offer regular beginner, improver & intermediate classes. The Glasgow Tango page is for anyone who wants to know about our Argentine Tango Classes and special events. Glasgow Tango teachers, Alistair and Shona, give termly beginners, intermediate and improver classes. For good measure, they also do free tango tasters for those who would like to dip their toes in the water before comitting them

Here is something to brighten our summer. Dance to live music from Garua Tango Club featuring guest singer Iriel Kaufman. For those new to tango, we will also be offering a taster class during the event.

In 3 weeks time we will be joined by the fantastic Iriel Kaufman for a fabulous afternoon of Argentine music, song & dance 🇦🇷

The afternoon will be kicked off with a beginner’s tango workshop by Glasgow Tango for anyone who needs to find their footing, before a milonga with live music 💃

Please remember that our tango classes will at Notre Dame HIGH School this Wednesday 6 MAY due to polling day set up at the primary. Usual times. We'll be in the gym so flat shoes / socks only, no heels.
