JOB OPPORTUNITY Clarkston Bowling & Tennis Club.

VACANCY to join the club Bar Staff team.

The role:
General bar duties including cash handling, stock management, cleaning, cashing up and locking up/security of bar and club at the end of the shift.
Being a welcoming point of contact for members & guests.

Hours are generally evenings with later shifts at weekend supporting functions etc.
Rotas are set roughly a month in advance and will include a selection of midweek and weekend. Occasional daytime shifts, mainly at weekends, may also be required to support sport sections and private functions at the club.
The role is more than just serving drinks, you will be a welcoming touchpoint for members and enquirers for memberships and private functions, responsible for club security, locking up at end of shift. After a period of initial training you’d be expected to be able to work solo on most non-function nights.

The person:
Over 18. (preferably over 21)
Good numeracy, social and communication skills.
Equally able to work on their own or in a team.
Previous bar, restaurant or retail experience is an advantage but not necessary.
