Last weekend results of 2026 🤫

Unfortunately, due to some technical glitches, the scorecard for the 1s game has temporarily disappeared🧑‍💻 However, losing the toss AGAIN 🫩 we bowled first, restricting Stirling to 113, chasing to win by 4 wickets. Confirming 2nd place and a return to Prem 1 for 2027 🙌💙

In the 2s fixture at Williamfield, batting first we made a formidable score of 278, with 60s from Ross and Esa. Partnerships through the middle brought Stirling close, however a brilliant last over from Kas saw us win by 1 run!

Unfortunately there was no result on Sunday for our 3s due to rain ☔️

🏆 We are delighted to announce that our U16s have lifted the league title this evening, after defeating East Renfrewshire by 9 wickets!

A great season, managing to go unbeaten and winning all 12 games🙌 We would like to congratulate our youngsters, as well as the coaches and parents who have helped throughout the season 🤩

We have been delighted to host Cricket Scotland ‘A’ and Jersey Cricket over the past few days in Uddingston 🙌

We love getting opportunities like this to show off our home and were pleased to see so many people, exciting talents and great cricket over the past few days🙏 with over 1200 runs scored across both days!

A special thanks to our ground team who work tirelessly to make the ground as nice as it is, and those who have helped over the past few days💙

The 1s were back at the BCP, and bowling first were able to restrict Mearns to 122 all out. This was chased in 20 overs, without losing a wicket as Simon and Fergus saw us home to a 10 wicket win. Guaranteeing promotion back to Prem 1 for 2027🤩🤩

Unfortunately it was defeat on the road for the 2s. Batting first, we only managed to get to 130 with an impressive 48 from Abhi Reddy. This was never enough as Renfrew chased the target inside 33 overs to give them a 7 wicket win 😢

Weekend Results ❌ ✅ ❌

A very mixed weekend of results across all three teams, with two losses and a win for our senior teams.

The 1s lost away to East Kilbride, after being 58-0 lost wickets at regular intervals to leave us 155 all out. Wickets all round gave us a great opportunity, however the hosts final pair saw them over the line to a one wicket win.

Back at the BCP, the 2s restricted Titwood to 171 with some impressive bowling from Rohail and Akshay. Then, after a shaky start, Rohail and captain Ross stabilised and pushed us towards the target, chasing in the 47th over 🔥

Unfortunately on Sunday it was not to be for the Castle XI on their last game of the season. Some impressive bowling performances saw us restrict the visitors to 147. However, again regular wickets fell and we could not get a partnership together, eventually falling 22 short of the target 😢

The 1s make the short trip over to East Kilbride, looking to back up last week’s victory over Dumfries with another win to cement second place 🔥

The 2s are back at the BCP, after a strong performance last week, we look to continue and begin a strong finish to the season hosting second place Titwood!

Sunday sees our final development game of the season, with a mix of experience and new faces hosting East Kilbride at the BCP 🏡

This weekend marked another achievement, as on Sunday former pro and uddy legend George Reifer was inducted into the Cricket Scotland Hall of Fame during Scotland’s win v UAE at Forthill.

Everyone at Uddingston CC would like to congratulate George on his achievement which we are all so proud of, and thank him for the many years and memories he has given us all during his time at Uddingston.

We have loved having him back over the past few days, and look forward to the week ahead as he continues to share his wisdom and memories of his time here 💙

A double win weekend for uddy 🤩

The 1s were victorious over Dumfries at the BCP. Losing the toss (again🫩) and bowling first, we restricted the visitors to 198-9 from their 50 overs, with 2 wickets Tom, Ross, Areeb and Akshay on debut 🔥 Chasing, we were reduced to 101-5 until a run a ball 47* from Raja, supporting the ever reliable Amaan with 67* saw us over the line with a 5 wicket win!

The 2s were dominant on the road at St Ninians 🛣️ Also bowling first, we were able to restrict the hosts to 109 all out, with 3 wickets each for Ali, Rohail and Yash 😵‍💫 Then a comprehensive chase in just over 20 overs with runs from Ross and Lalit saw us take the win ✅
