Weeks One and Two of our popular Kids Summer Club, we've worked on cycling skills including gears and slow control, practiced our bike and helmet safety checks, cycled new routes to Colquhoun and Knightswood Park, as well as eaten lots of snacks 😆😍 do your kids love cycling? Get booked in for the coming weeks, only a few spots remaining!

A beautiful evening out with the Thursday night group, we did a 20 mile loop down to the Renfrew Bridge over to Po***ck Park (lovely new segregated cycle path along Dumbreck Road 🤩) then back to town via the science centre, Scottie spotting along the way!

It's good for you 🥰 join our daytime or evening cycles, we have bikes available to use too!

CYCLING = SEROTONIN ☀️🚲

Here's why getting on your bike can help you feel good:
☀️ Sunshine (if Glasgow allows it!) can help regulate your body clock and support serotonin production

🚲 Movement
Pedalling releases endorphins and dopamine (your brain's natural feel-good chemicals)

🌿 Fresh Air & Nature
Spending time outdoors can reduce stress, improve focus and lift your mood.

💚 Connection
Whether it's riding with friends, waving to another cyclist or stopping for a coffee, small moments of connection can make a big difference.

We're delighted to support Sean & Chris who are taking on one of the most iconic endurance challenges in the UK - cycling the length of Great Britain from Land's End to John o' Groats.

That's 980 miles across 12-14 days of non-stop riding, neither of them have ever done anything like this before.

They're doing it for two causes that are deeply personal to both;

Men's Mental Health

Both Chris and Sean know what it feels like to hit rock bottom. We've been through our own struggles, felt the weight of low moments, and come out the other side - but we're acutely aware that not everyone does.

The statistics around male su***de are devastating, and we want to do our part to raise awareness, break the silence, and show that it's okay to talk.

Diabetes Scotland

Sean recently lost his dad to diabetes, a loss that's still very raw. This ride is partly in his honour. Diabetes Scotland supports the nearly 335,000 people in Scotland living with this serious condition, and every pound raised goes toward better care, research, and vital support for families like Sean's.

This challenge is going to push us to our physical and mental limits. It'll be uncomfortable, gruelling, and at times we'll want to quit.

But that's exactly the point, because every mile we ride represents someone who's still fighting through their own struggle every single day.
If you can spare anything at all, it means more than you know.

Please support them if you can.
