2026 Vice Presidents Champion - Congratulations to Boab Carey on winning this years Vice Presidents championship in his his first year. A deserving win in the end. Hard luck to Ryan MacDonald.

2026 Pairs Champions - Congratulations to Ryan MacDonald & Alan MacDonald on winning this years Pairs championship. An amazing family feat achieved. A nail biting end to the game that went down to the very last bowl, but commiserations to Thomas Taylor & Ronnie Taylor .

2026 Fours Champions - Congratulations to Liz MacDonald, Matt Wilson. Kenny Coulston & Stevie Philips on winning this years fours championship. A fantastic achievement for a team of new members. It was a hard fought game against David Meredith. Kenny Crews, Jim Inglis & Ricky Taylor

Port Glasgow Bowling Club

What a fantastic night at the Port. Hospitality was absolutely top class and a fantastic meal made by the legend Sandy Wotherspoon

The season long test series saw Dougie Twaddle sn**ch the top spot for the Port with a last bowl of his game against Alan MacDonald to take the 2 points and top the section ahead of John Fleming and Paul Wotherspoon. The Bellahouston top spot also went to the wire with Kenny Crews taking top spot over the series for Bella with a victory which seen him top the table in shots difference over Ricky Taylor. Amazing for both teams to come down to the last games and bowls of the series. It's been a fantastic season long series and thanks to all the players who supported it since April.

Congratulations to Port Glasgow Bowling Club on retaining the national fours title. We have had a fabulous season with the port lads playing in a fortnightly test series since April.
