It’s so important that children have the opportunity to try tricky things, it builds up their:

🤍Strength and skills - they physically need to do things to get better at them
🤍Resilience - failing and trying again will help them not to lose hope in all areas of life
🤍Growth mindset - “I can’t do it… yet!”
🤍Risk taking - it helps them assess what is doable and what is dangerous
🤍Self esteem - being able to do things when they first found it really hard makes them proud of themselves and promotes thinking about themselves in a positive way
