Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of volunteers behind the scenes, the final round of the 2026 SXC Series is now cancelled.

This is due to multiple contributing factors, including delays in the construction of new trails, challenges in recruiting a volunteer team, and the financial risk presented at this stage.

Many of you will recognise JJ Chalmers from presenting sport for the BBC.

JJ spoke to our friends at British Cycling from his home in Fife where he reflects on his time serving as a Royal Marine Commando, the life-changing injuries he sustained, and the role the Invictus Games played in his recovery.

It was there that he first discovered cycling in a new way, through a trike that would go on to reshape his rehabilitation and outlook.

If you want to get started with adaptative bikes then check out our partners at Fife Cycle Park in Lochgelly, who have a fleet of ICE Trikes just like JJ's for you to try!
