This boils down to one of my core fitness beliefs-
The importance of ‘always something’ as an antidote to ‘all or nothing’.
Being told that your efforts are getting you nowhere because you aren’t doing a really niche pulldown technique, or your squat depth wouldn’t fly in a powerlifting competition is so crazy to me.
Don’t get me wrong, learning how to exercise safely and effectively is really important. But once you have the fundamentals nailed, there are a million ways to express them. Find your favourites, then rinse and repeat forever!
