🏸 FREE Badminton Taster Sessions with GBA’s Experienced Coaches! 🏸
Glasgow Badminton Academy is opening our doors this September as part of Give It A Go Glasgow – Club Open Doors 2026! 🎉
Open to children aged 4–11. Beginners and experienced players are all welcome! Come along to learn basic badminton skills, enjoy friendly games and meet GBA’s coaches.
*Session 1 - Sunday 13 September*
Junior Badminton Taster
Ages 9–11
12:30pm–2:00pm

Miniton Badminton Taster
Ages 4–8

At GBA, every player has a pathway.
Whether someone is picking up a racket for the first time, growing as a confident club player, or pushing towards performance badminton, our structured programme supports development at every stage.
And yes, even fun challenges like our noughts-and-crosses race play a part. These activities develop quick decision-making, movement, teamwork and confidence, all of which contribute to long-term player development.
If you’re unsure which session is the right fit, we’re always happy to help you find the best group.

The new GBA season starts 16 August, and registrations are now OPEN!
If you’re looking for structured, high-quality coaching, challenging training sessions and a club that’s passionate about developing players at every level, we’d love to welcome you.
⚠️ Don’t leave it too late. This year, registrations are open to everyone from day one, and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once a session is full, we’ll operate a waiting list.

We're excited to welcome all of our returning members back for another fantastic season at Glasgow Badminton Academy!
