Play Braid’s Masterpiece, Before The Evolution!

Before we break ground on our transformative redesign of our 17th and 18th holes, and short-game practice area, we invite you to experience the original vision of five-time Open Champion James Braid.

Located just minutes from Glasgow in Newton Mearns, The East Renfrewshire Golf Club is perched 500 feet above the city and offers an unforgettable 18-hole golfing experience.

Enjoy the challenge of our elevated tees, signature plateau greens and undulating fairways exactly as Braid intended, one last time before our next chapter begins..!

Our course closes to visitors on the 30th of September for our annual winter maintenance period, so visit our website today and book your autumnal round of golf, and walk the pristine undulating fairways under a canopy of seasonal colours, one last time just as Braid intended.

Escape the city. Challenge your game. Experience history.

Course Manager Barry Nichol / Silver Challenge

As we look ahead to Saturday’s Silver Challenge, there’s a real sense of pride around the club as we prepare to celebrate our Course Manager, Barry Nichol’s, 25 years of outstanding service with members, friends and family.

It was fitting, too, that this week we welcomed our Course Support Team, with members volunteering their time to join the Barry and the team in sand patching the fairways — a wonderful display of commitment, community spirit and care for our course.

A welcoming club, supporting wonderful service and loyalty.

Thank you to Fairways for sponsoring Saturdays event and to all our Scottish Clubs for supporting the event with such kind donations.
