Glasgow Wellington 2-5 Dunblane SC: U21s, O35s & FFIT

A disappointing result today, but the scoreline doesn’t reflect the performance the lads put in.

We went from leading 2-1 to eventually losing 5-2, but there are still lots of positives to take from the game against a good, physical side. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much we could do when 3 of our back 4 had to go off injured in the first half. That meant lots of restructuring to the team and a few of the boys having to play in unfamiliar positions.

But we take it as a team, stick together, and move on to the next one. 💪⚽

Revenge after our last meeting!

A brilliant reaction from the boys as Glasgow Wellington bounced back in style with a 5-1 victory over Craigneuk.

After an off day in our last outing against Craigneuk, the boys were determined to put things right — and they certainly did that with a ruthless all-round performance.

Defensively, John Mcilwain put in a fantastic display, helping keep things tight at the back, while Chris Taylor delivered a standout performance and deservedly took home Man of the Match.

We’re looking for a Goalkeeper Coach to join the coaching team at Glasgow Wellington FFIT.

No experience? No problem. We can support you every step of the way. All we ask is that you’re confident enough to lead sessions for our goalkeepers and are keen to help them develop throughout the season.
