The aim of the Collective is to promote Argentine Tango in Glasgow and to encourage more people to dance tango by providing regular practica and milonga events as well as tango classes. The practica and milonga are run on a not-for-profit basis, which means we aim to cover costs and reinvest any surplus back into improving the quality and the offer of events for everyone’s enjoyment. Cacu Lucero is back in Scotland for more Tango Contact and a Contact Improvisation retreat, and we’re delighted that he’ll be joining us for our regular Monday classes.
🕡 6:15pm – Tango Fundamentals: El Giro
A soft and fluid approach to the giro, exploring the active role of both partners and developing greater musicality within the movement.
🕢 7:15pm – Open Level: "What's Next?"
Through three key concepts—pivot, giro and boleo—we will explore the power of improvisation in tango, refining mutual listening, connection, and our relationship with the music.
🕣 8:15pm – Práctica

We’re still glowing after such a wonderful weekend with Laura Murphy & Fransley Marcel 💛
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, danced, learned, and filled the hall with such beautiful energy. You are what makes these weekends special.
