Glasgow East Juniors RFC 2019

Did you know that Garrowhill Bowling Club were one of the only organisations in our area to receive funding to host a community event in coordination with the Commonwealth Games? 🤔😲

Yep & it's setting up to be an amazing day for the whole community 🥳🎊🎉

Saturday July 25th from 10am @ Garrowhill Bowling Club is where the trip through the ages will begin‼️

Starting with a parade full of themed costumes following a pipe band along through the local are before returning to the bowling club for The Tournament of the Ages🥳

There will be vintage vehicles, emergency service vehicles, as well as food truck & cakes from Cupcakesbytoni_x!

Garrowhill Community Council has also organised a side event in Brighter Baillieston at Garrowhill Community Centre 🥳 An exhibition of Bowls through the ages where you can learn about the origins of Bowls & follow through to today’s game. There will also be crafts & games for kids, as well as free face painting by Star Creations!

It's shaping up to be an amazing day & we can't wait to see all our community out in support of Garrowhill Bowling Club & our Local Community 🥳😊 Hope To See You All There 🙋🏼‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️
