Kerry-Lee’s Transformation – A Year of Hard Work, Growth & Friendship 🤩

Reposting this because it deserves all the recognition – but this time, it’s even more special.

After a full year of coaching together, we’ve officially wrapped things up, and I couldn’t be prouder of this woman.

Kerry-Lee nearly wrote herself off in the beginning. She told me straight up, ā€œI don’t think I can do this, I can’t track my food.ā€ But instead of letting that stop her, she put in the work, stayed consistent, and proved herself wrong.

And it wasn’t smooth sailing. Over the past year, she’s dealt with injuries, work commitments, personal stress, and even moving locations, all things that could have easily thrown her off. But no matter what, she showed up in whatever way she could, adapted, and kept pushing forward. That’s the kind of mindset that creates real, lasting change.

What makes this even more special for me is that Kerry-Lee was my first PT client in Australia. When I moved back to Glasgow, she didn’t hesitate to jump on board for online coaching, and over the past year, we’ve built an unreal friendship.

I’m beyond grateful to have been part of her journey. She’s a true example of what happens when you stop doubting yourself and just go for it.

Proud doesn’t even cover it. Well done, Kerry-Lee! šŸ’š

Two Years Home šŸ“󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁓ó æ

Two years ago, I packed up my life in Australia and came back to Glasgow. At the time, it felt like I was throwing everything away, the sunshine, the so-called dream life, the idea that a fresh start somewhere else would fix me. Truth is, I wasn’t chasing a better life over there, I was running from myself. Depression, suicidal thoughts, and an alcohol problem I was in complete denial about. A new country didn’t fix me. Coming home did.

I’ll never forget the people who got round me when I needed it most, Allan taking me to my first meeting, Brian guiding me through the 12 steps, and the pals who stuck by me while I put my life back together.

Since then, I’ve built a business, made friendships that mean the world to me, and created a life I never thought I’d have. And none of it would’ve happened without the people here.

For years, I thought I had to go somewhere else to find opportunities. But the truth is, everything I was looking for was right here all along.

So if you’re feeling lost, thinking the answer is somewhere else, maybe it’s not. Maybe it’s about facing yourself, getting the right people round you, and realising the life you want isn’t in some faraway place. It’s in the work you’re willing to do, right where you are.

Grateful for Glasgow and the people init ā¤ļø

TWO YEARS AGO, MY LIFE WAS A MESS!

I’d just moved back from Australia because I couldn’t cope with my own head. Depression had me in a chokehold, suicidal thoughts were constant, and I was in complete denial about my alcoholism.

I had f**k all.
No job.
Nowhere to live.
Not a penny to my name.

I remember sitting there thinking, Is this it? Is this how my life’s gonna go?

I gave myself two choices, get sober, and give coaching one last shot… or go back to scaffolding and accept that I’d pi**ed my life away.

I had no f**king clue if I could do it, but I knew if I didn’t at least try, I wouldn’t be around much longer.

So I got myself to meetings. Found a wee place in Maryhill. Got a job in JD Gym. And hired a coach when I was skint as f**k.

At first, nothing felt different. The doubts were still there, the bad days kept coming. But I stuck with it. And bit by bit, my life started to change.

I wasn’t just getting stronger in the gym, I was rebuilding my entire f**king life.

I started fixing relationships I’d burned to the ground. Stopped pushing folk away. And for the first time in years, I could actually look in the mirror without hating what I saw looking back. I was proud of myself

These past two years have been hard, but they’ve also been the most rewarding .

Now, I’ve got a coaching business that means the world to me. I get to help people change their lives the way I changed mine. And the best part? My clients aren’t just clients, they’re like best mates.

And none of this would have happened if I hadn’t swallowed my pride and asked for help.

So if you’re reading this and you’re struggling, hear this:

You are not broken.
You are not beyond saving.
You can turn this s**t around.

But no one’s coming to do it for you. You need to take that first step. It’ll be scary, it’ll be f**king hard, but I promise you, it’ll change everything.

Paige’s Transformation šŸš€šŸŽÆ

I couldn’t be prouder of Paige and the effort she’s put in over the last year. She’s had a lot going on behind the scenes, but no matter what, she still showed up, even on the days she didn’t feel like it. That’s the kind of dedication that makes all the difference.

Our gym sessions? A mix of therapy, heart-to-hearts, and the occasional falling out. But through it all, she’s stayed consistent, proving that you don’t need to sacrifice your social life to get results. With plenty of holidays, nights out, and good times along the way, she’s completely transformed her physique, all without chasing a quick fix. We played the long game, focused on balance, and it’s paid off.

Paige started as a client, but she’s become a good pal today. Watching her grow, both physically and mentally, has been incredible.

Proud of you, mate! Keep smashing it. ā¤ļø

Client Spotlight: Ashlie ā¤ļø

Where do I even start with Ashlie? When she joined me, life was throwing her challenges left, right, and center. She had just moved back home from Australia, started working full-time again, was in the middle of renovating a house, and juggling life while staying with family. To say she had a lot on her plate is an understatement.

With so many external stressors, it would have been easy for Ashlie to throw in the towel. But instead, she put on her big girl pants and faced every obstacle head-on.

Her training? That was never an issue, she nailed it from day one. The real work was in tackling the rest: rebuilding her relationship with food, cutting back on the after-work wines, improving her sleep and recovery, and learning to celebrate every bit of progress she made along the way.

I’m beyond proud of her. Ashlie isn’t just a client, she’s become a good friend and someone I truly admire. Her determination, resilience, and trust in the process have been inspiring to watch.

Thanks, Ashlie, for trusting me as your coach. Roll on the next exciting phase of your transformation, you’ve got this ā¤ļø

Client Spotlight: Chris’ Incredible 16-Week Transformation šŸš€šŸŽÆ

When Chris first reached out to me, he was ready for a challenge but wasn’t quite sure what online coaching would look like. He wanted to join my 16-week photoshoot prep, but having never worked with an online coach before, he was unsure of how the process worked.

Chris didn’t struggle with showing up to workouts, he’s always been disciplined in that area. What he lacked was structure, routine, and a proper plan to get the results he wanted. Together, we built a strategy that worked for him.

We mapped out a diet that allowed Chris to enjoy the foods he loved while staying on track. Nothing overly restrictive, just consistent. For training, there was no need to reinvent the wheel, we stuck to a simple plan: 4 weight training sessions per week, with additional steps and cardio to round things out.

But what makes Chris’ journey truly inspiring is what happened at the halfway mark. At 8 weeks out, life threw him a curveball. Personal challenges had him seriously considering pulling out of the photoshoot entirely. We met up on the gym floor for a heart-to-heart, and I encouraged him to keep going, to focus on himself despite the noise.

And he did.

Chris showed up for himself in ways that even he didn’t realize he could. Through the highs and lows, he pushed through and stayed committed, proving that consistency and heart go a long way.

The results speak for themselves, but what I’m most proud of is Chris’ resilience. He didn’t just transform his body, he showed himself what he’s capable of, even when life isn’t going to plan.

Cheers to you, Chris. Your journey is a testament to hard work and determination, and I couldn’t be prouder to have been part of it. šŸ™Œ

Nicola’s Journey: From Quiet Gym-Goer to Inspiring Powerhouse šŸ’ƒ

When Nicola first reached out to me, she was someone who simply showed up to the gym, got her workout done, and left, rarely speaking to anyone. But what stood out to me even then was her consistency and determination.

As a busy mum juggling a full-time job and running her own business, Nicola could have easily made excuses. Let’s be honest, it would have been completely understandable. But instead, she chose to prioritize herself, her fitness, and her confidence.

Fast forward just 4 months, and Nicola has completely transformed, not just physically, but mentally and socially too. She’s the fittest and most confident she’s ever been, regularly smashing her sessions while still enjoying life.

What’s even more amazing is seeing how Nicola has become such a vibrant part of our community. She now attends the weekly meet-ups and has built incredible friendships with other clients. Her positivity and energy are infectious, and she inspires everyone she meets to push a little harder and dream a little bigger.

On a personal level, Nicola and I have become good pals, and it’s been an absolute pleasure coaching her. She’s hardworking, supportive, and always ready to show up and give her best.

Nicola, I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved so far, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for you. You’re proof that with the right mindset and support, anything is possible.

Love yae mate šŸ„³ā¤ļø

If you’ve been sitting on the fence about making a change, let Nicola’s story be your sign. You’re capable of so much more than you think. šŸ™Œ

Meet Gary šŸ’™

Gary wears a lot of hats, working a full-time job, chasing his dream, and always stepping up to help his family. In the middle of it all, he found himself stuck in a cycle of overtraining, overeating, and overthinking.

Recognizing how much he was juggling, I offered to help him reset and regain balance.

Gary wasn’t just any client. He was someone I deeply admired. Back when I was struggling with my own mental health during a tough period in Australia, Gary was one of the first people I reached out to. His honesty about his own journey, his struggles, and his openness online inspired me to start sharing my own story.

This feels like a full-circle moment, the man who helped me at one of my lowest trusted me to help him regain balance and find his strength again.

The results? Gary has absolutely smashed it. Beyond the physical transformation, he’s learned to manage his energy, focus his efforts, and find joy in the process. Coaching him was an absolute pleasure, not just because of his work ethic, but because of the person he is, he’s one of the funniest, kindest, and most hardworking individuals I know.

Gary, I’m incredibly proud of you. You’ve proven once again that you’re not just an inspiration to me but to everyone who knows you. Here’s to more continued growth, balance, and smashing every goal ahead!

Love you my man šŸ„³šŸ’™
