Are you waking 5000 miles because you want to loose weight? Look lean?
👉Tell me why do you walk? (so much)
👉Why is it your go to, your chosen type of exercise?
And before you come at me…
I’m not saying don’t walk 😁
Walking is nice. I love walking.
It’s one of the best things you can do for your mental health, heart health and overall wellbeing.
But…..
If you’re walking every day because you believe it’s going to change your body shape, get you that toned, lean body most women who come to me are after 👎
Many women come to me who, when I ask what exercise they’re doing, tell me:
“I walk. I do 5K every day.”
And that’s brilliant 👍
But then these same women are often saying:
“I’m walking all the time, but I’m not losing weight. Nothing is changing.”
And this is where we need to ask ourselves…
If what you’ve always done isn’t giving you the result you want, isn’t it time to try something different?
Walking is fantastic for your health, your head and your daily movement—but it isn’t the same as your body.
I’ve been there. For years, cardio was my thing. I ran most days. I ran a marathons.
Thanks to the pandemic I discovered strength training, lifting a set of dumbbells. That was it!
I became stronger.
More capable.
More confident.
My body composition changed. Instead of looking small (skinny), I developed a leaner, stronger, more defined physique, and I felt better than I ever did (fewer injuries)
And this matters even more as we enter midlife and .
We naturally start losing muscle as we age, and we need to protect it, maintain it.
Strong muscles help support our bones, and strength training provides that stimulus our bones need to stay strong and healthy. Again, increasingly important as we age as our risk of bone loss increases.
👉Also… if you’re on a fat loss journey; losing weight without strength training can mean losing valuable muscle too. Muscle is metabolic.
🙏 Don’t wait until 10 or 20 years down the line to think about your strength, your muscle and your bone health.
Start building and protecting it now.
Keep walking. Absolutely.
But make strength training the priority.

Our lives are made up of habits, routines, stuff we do….stuff we’ve maybe always done!
Habits are positive and useful in our lives, if they’re serving us, helping us achieve our goals…
But…..if they’re not — then it’s time to let go of them!
The saying…
“If you keep doing what you’re doing you’ll get what you’ve got — if it’s not what you want you need to change it”
LIFT LEAN™️ lifestyle supports you to make these changes, and also to sustain them!
No more starting over every Monday!
Making small realistic changes that are manageable and not overwhelming!
Examples could be;
Reducing portion sizes.
Replacing sugary snacks with healthier options.
Removing certain food types from sight, from temptation (not restricting just removing in the short term)
No major overhauls
No “I’m not allowed that”
No restrictive rules
A simple strategy that will stick, that will help you achieve your long term goals — not overnight, and not a summer quick fix.
Back to Basics! That’s what we focus on the basic bits — and do them repeatedly!
👉Evelyn’s success story
Evelyn didn’t loose 3 stone overnight!
She lost it overtime.
She was consistent—not perfect!
She worked hard.
She changed small daily habits….
Surrounded herself by real life advice that works!
Her weightloss is not all about the weightloss — it’s about how she feels and the difference it has made to her quality of life — Evelyn’s back in control💚
Trying to do this alone is very difficult.
Surround yourself with the right people the right support and the right result will come 💯

This is for the woman who has tried EVERYTHING!
The diets.
The detoxes.
The fasting.
The fitness classes.
The jogging clubs.
The “eat less and move more” advice she got from her doctor and wanted to throw a shoe at 🙄
She’s not new to this.
Shes been here before!
Well I’m here to tell you exactly what’s she’s doing 👇
“She’s doing what she’s always done”, and let me say, it will have worked in her 20s, 30s ….
BUT and it’s a BIG BUT…it won’t work in your 40s, 50s and beyond!
Our bodies are changing.
Our energy levels have changed.
Our recovery has changed.
It’s not that your lazy, or need another new diet, or need to try harder, and certainly do not need to walk more ❌
You need a programme that’s built for you at this stage in your life!
One that will support your body.
👉 This is exactly who I built LIFT LEAN™️ Online for.
NOT for the woman who needs to be convinced that her health matters.
She already knows this.
She also knows she’s been putting everyone else’s priorities first for decades!
She’s been going round in circles and feeling stuck for months, maybe years!
This is for the woman who finally….finally is ready to make herself the priority.
Who wants to understand what’s actually happening in her body right now, not just be handed another meal plan, exercise programme and wished the best of luck!
She needs the right approach, the right programme, the right support for her at this stage of her life!
If that’s you - you belong right here🧡
Comment YES and I’ll show you exactly how to get started.

We all need it at some point in time.
Recognising it and accepting it is the key.
Time and time again I see it - I hear it…Many of the women that come to work with me, have this “I’m failing if I don’t sort it out myself” attitude.
There’s this pressure;
To keep going.
To keep giving.
To keep doing for everyone else.
To hold it all together.
To get on with it.
But it doesn’t have to be like this.
In fact in some instances it’s the thing that’s holding you back from getting where you want to be.
You don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Asking for help isn’t a failing.
It’s actually a strength.
Recognising when you need help is the strongest thing you can do.
It’s often the missing link — the piece that will stop you going round in circles… and start making progress 🎉
✅ Teamwork works
❌ Going solo sucks !
Drop ‘SUPPORT’ in the comments if you’re done going round in circles.
Ps. Yes for the record I would never have got everything in the car I needed - so I took support from someone I knew who could ❤️

Is it really weight you’re wanting to loose, or is it something else? 🤔
With many of the women I work with, what they really want is;
✔️ They want more shape.
✔️ They want to feel confident in their clothes.
✔️ They want to feel good!
✔️ They want to look lean, strong and toned.
The problem is they’ve been conditioned to believe the answer is simply to weigh less.
A lower number on the scale doesn’t automatically create the body shape you’re looking for.
Muscle does.
If your goal is to look toned, the focus needs to shift from “How much weight can I lose?” to “How much muscle can I build while reducing body fat?”
That’s where strength training makes all the difference.
Not endless hours of walking or running.
Not skipping breakfast and calling it discipline.
Not surviving on salads.
Not chasing the number on the scales.
Lift weights. Prioritise protein. Eat to fuel & nourish your body.
Because the goal isn’t just to be lighter.
It’s to build the body you actually want.
LIFT LEAN™️ is the programme that will help you achieve this.

I hate to break it to you…
But the hour you’re spending every day isn’t a fitness strategy, and probably won’t get you the outcome or results you’re after!
It’s a . And there’s a difference.
For women in perimenopause, walking alone isn’t moving the needle on the things that actually matter - muscle, metabolism, bone density, hormonal health.
If you’ve ever thought;
“I’m walking 3, 4, 5 times a week. I’m eating well. But nothing’s changing. Why am I still not losing weight?”
Here’s why.
As we age, we naturally lose muscle. Less muscle means a slower metabolism, less strength, and a body that’s more likely to store fat.
👉Walking is great for your health, but it doesn’t do enough to build and maintain the muscle that’s so important during midlife.
What does?
Strength training.
👉Because at this stage of life, the goal isn’t to get smaller. It’s to get stronger.
Building muscle doesn’t mean building bulk. It means creating a stronger body, supporting your metabolism, protecting your bones, and improving the way you look, feel and function.
You don’t need to start lifting heavy.
Start with a weight that feels challenging but manageable and build from there.
That’s exactly what LIFT LEAN™️ is.
A strength training and lifestyle programme designed specifically for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Learn how to lift with confidence, build strength, and support your body through this stage of life with coaching, guidance and accountability along the way.

The cold water isn’t actually the hardest part.
The hardest part is getting out the door! Deciding. Packing the bag.
Walking down to the water.
Looking at it. Knowing it’s going to be cold.
That’s where most of the battle happens.
The cold? That’s just a few seconds.
“Seriously I can cope with a bit of cold for a few seconds” (is some of the self talk)
Then the magic happens….and I know that!
Anchor that feeling - not the mood or the motivation beforehand.
The result:
💪You’ll feel proud and pleased with yourself because you did something you didn’t really want to do.
💪 You’ll feel stronger because you overcame the resistance, you did it - you beat that voice inside your head!
💪 And…you’ll feel because you’ve done something good for your mind, body and spirit 🎉
Most things we overthink are harder in our heads than they are in reality.
Please do your do today and don’t let that pesky voice talk you out of it …
YOU CAN DO IT 💪
