Glasgow Wrestling Club

Lets look after our kids. F1 engines are highly specialised and sensitive. Teams and drivers are required to operate them at high levels but also manage their performance by turning setting up and down and tweaking lots of different factors to get the most out of the engine but also to ensure its longevity and avoid burnout.
Our children should be treated the same and as a coach it is important to work with parents and ensure they understand how you are trying to manage expectation & their child’s journey.

Its is a team effort that has so many different & important factors to develop & manage.

At the GWC we say
“Effort errors is on the athlete, skill errors is on the coach, & it is the parents job to support” that team of three working together is what brings success.

Our character pathway program is getting an upgrade.

This will rolled out from January and be available to other clubs looking to integrate the character pathway program into their club.

Every Tuesday 7PM

A few rounds on Tuesday night with & a little bit more work to be done on leg finishes which we will pick up next week and hopefully less eye jabs.

this week we worked entry & finishes from head inside single.
Next week we do the same from mid level. Come check out the class and upgrade your grappling!
