Cartha Lightning Touch Rugby Club

New Glasgow Southside touch rugby club. There will also be opportunities to represent Glasgow and Scotland.

Cartha Lightning will be taking part in the Glasgow league in that starts in May and also attend a number of competitions throughout the year.

Another year of Glasgow Touch Association league done. A close final against Glasgow Chickens Touch Rugby Club where we edged it to take home the silverware.

Our men were unfortunate having held the lead the majority of the game then losing in a 3 v 3 drop off. Well done to Glasgow Lions Touch Rugby Club men to taking third place 🥉 thank you for the close game 🫱🏽‍🫲🏻

Our women have been amazing this year and unfortunately most had been on holiday the final 2 weeks. Not only have they developed so well, often helping the men in the men’s games when we were short, but our very own Lou B won Women’s Player of the League 👏🏻

Great night with Cartha Lightning tonight 10-3 winners in the mixed, 4-4 draw in the men’s and a close 4-2 defeat in the women’s. MVP for mixed Erin, MVP Men’s Richard and MVP for women Lou.
