This Sunday! Get along and support the boys 🐼💛

Back to back wins for the pandas🐼 A lack lustre start saw us 1 nil down in the first half however we were able to stabilise after the break, a few stern words and a sub made the difference.

A quickfire 3 goals saw us equalise and subsequently take the lead, a well taken goal by and 2 good finishes by Deco Sneddon.

The opposition pulled one back to make the game 3-2 and appeared to have some momentum in their favour however colts would regain the two goal advantage, Chris’s well placed freekick was unlucky not to nestle in the bottom corner instead coming off the post and falling to Deco to complete his hattrick. Ryan💙⚽️ made it 5 in the dying embers of the game, a counter attacking run by debutant Ben who found Ryan in the box to put it home.

Motm was our hattrick hero Deco Sneddon another good performance this week from deco who’s been scoring every week so far, could have had 4 on another day but can’t be unhappy with 3 goals and an assist!

This Sunday we play an unfamiliar foe in and unfamiliar location but the Colts look to take last week’s performance and add another 3 points to the table

Deco Sneddon .mcl_ .capon07 all found themselves on the goal sheet after a superb performance from the boys after last week’s heartbreak.

MoTM this week was a tough decision with a lot of standout performances however pipped everyone else to the post by being a stalwart in the middle of the park for the full game, kept us ticking going forward and wasn’t afraid to make a challenge when required 🐼💛

This weekend we face Glasgow Wednesday FC at our new home, come along and support the boys 🐼💛

Heartbreak hotel on opening day.

One half of dominance and one half of mistakes cost the colts 3 points from the season opener, an early injury to Luke Donnelly could have been a sign of things to come however colts took the lead through an lovely volley from Chris, his brother Tommy then added to the scoreline only 5 minutes later bundling in a cross from euanholland_.

Deco Sneddon made it 3-1 not long after the restart, a defence splitting clearance by Charles found its way through to deco who powered through the defence and rifled the ball past the goalkeeper.

Villa found their way back into the game via a penalty and an own goal, tying the game up at 3-3. Colts found ourselves down to 10 men for the last 15 after Chris received his second yellow of the day. Sadly with 5 minutes to go Villa made the man advantage count and found the winner.

This weeks motm was Deco Sneddon, brilliant from the minute he came on replacing the early injury, a superb goal and another day could have had more.

Shoutout to Patzoogle Sniffoyle who was awarded the refs motm for his defensive efforts.

An outstanding display from the boys today against what we knew was gonna be a tougher opponent. Superb performances all over the park today.

Goals came from all kinds of places today with Grant McLay grabbing 3, Chris being at the double, Tommy, Greg and Blair all finding their names on the score sheet. Pick of the bunch being Greg Kirkland with a cracking freekick.

Shoutout to .mcl_ for his hatrick, can really tell all your hard work at training is paying off.

Preseason so far has been a very mixed bag for the boys,

A tough start against a strong park Villa side and a clinical Charleston however positives were in abundance and they paid off against the young boys in hermitage alongside a formation change some consistency at training.

Last weekend we took on a very familiar opponent in innercity, a topsy turvy game which saw us go from 2 nil down to 4-2 up followed by 5-4 down, complacency and set pieces being our undoing after a superb comeback in the first half.

this Sunday we host Glasgow Irish FC at our new home of Peterson park an 11am start, come along and support the lads.

We are still on the look out to add more bodies to the squad for the upcoming season, training on Wednesdays games on Sundays, reach out if your interested.
