Langside Tennis Club hosted a fun Wimbledon tournament on Saturday morning. Lots of good tennis, pimms, strawberries and cream and our very own grass court! Congratulations to Tim and Mary who were our winners on the day 🎾🏆

We had a busy weekend at Langside Bowling Club, luckily the sun was shining ☀️

On Saturday our men’s team hosted Cathcart in a friendly with Langside being victorious and on Sunday we hosted 14 teams for the annual women’s Hamilton Trophy.

Crookston were deserving winners beating Croftfoot in the final 🏆

Thanks to all clubs who took part and we look forward to welcoming you back on July 11th 2027.

Congratulations to this year’s winners of the Langside Bowling Club triples, Stevie Cree, Brian Dunleavy and Lovat Fraser. They beat Lee Clark, Mick Buchanan and Graeme Coulter in an exciting final on Monday night 🏆

Langside Bowling Club braved the rain yesterday to take part in the annual Bobby Elliot trophy. Lovat Fraser and Stevie Cree were this year’s winners - Lovat’s third year in a row! Congratulations to Lovat and Stevie and thanks to everyone who took part 🏆

Congratulations to Langside Bowling Club triples team who won the Scottish Bowls district final at Rutherglen on Thursday night!

Mick Buchanan, Brian Dunleavy and Graeme Coulter now go to Northfield in Ayr to play in the Scottish National finals with the other district winners in August.
