A brilliant weekend for the U8’s and one they should feel seriously proud of.

Despite missing players and having to dig deep from the very first whistle, the boys battled their way all the way to the King of the Town Championship Final, falling just short by a single goal…A huge achievement in a competition packed with strong teams and big moments.

Every one of them showed heart, grit and determination. They earned their place in that final, and they absolutely deserved it.

Performances like that say everything about their character and how far they’ve come this season.

A massive congratulations to the whole squad, they should hold their heads high and feel incredibly proud of what they achieved this weekend.

Well done boys!!

🏆 KING OF THE TOWN U11 CHAMPIONS🏆

What a fantastic achievement for our Wigmore Youth FC Under 11s! ❤️💙⚽

The boys have finished 1st place and lifted the Top Champions League Trophy after an incredible season of hard work, teamwork, and determination.

Every player gave their all, and we’re so proud of what this team has accomplished. A huge thank you to our coaches, parents, and supporters for being with us every step of the way.

A BIG well done to all our Trophy winners today!

Every single one of our players work hard and show there dedication to football. Working hard really does pay off!

Football isn’t just about goals or winning. Football is about having fun, developing and leaving with a smile on your face regardless of the outcome. You all should be so proud of yourselves!

You represented our club today, and you did our club proud!

We may be a small club, but we are a big football family!! ⚽️

A massive well done to our U8 Whippets team!

Achieving sportsmanship of the year award in there age group!

Out of 47 teams in there age group, they came 1st with a Gold award.

These awards are given for all aspects of football, from good sportsmanship from the players, behaviour and being role models. The managers being professional on the sidelines, and also the parents showing enthusiasm through out! It’s a whole team effort. So well done!!

It can be done, on to the next 👍🏼 watch this space!!

Our first Presentation Day in 11 years! And what a day to remember!

Fantastic weather, fun and games, ice cream, food and of course trophies!

A massive well done to all players who received there awards today! Another season done, bring on the next one!

Thank you to our managers, coaches and everyone involved at Wigmore Youth. You volunteer every week, with your time to help young players follow their dreams. With out you, it wouldn’t be possible! So thank you!
