Happy Trails on tour outside the wonderful Café ReCharge this may become a regular gig

HAPPY TRAILS is going on 'Tour', well for just 1 date. On Thursday 24th November, Happy Trails Bicycle Workshop will be set up outside Cafe Recharge, 58 Island Street, Galashiels, Td1 1nu. I'll be doing some free services up to the value of £50 under the Scottish governments bike repair scheme. There are 7 slots available which can only be booked at Cafe Recharge or on their page. The scheme gets your gears and brakes adjusted, the rest of the bike checked over, a couple of cables or brake pads fitted.
After Thursday further services will be available at the workshop on Plumtree Brae. For these services pop in, but it's probably a good idea to either text or call me on 07791974075 and I can get back to you with availability and time scales, cheers ma dears.

The Happy Trails Bicycle Workshop is now taking part in the governments bicycle repair scheme.
This scheme allows you... yes you there, to have a bike serviced up to the value of £50.
A £50 service includes having the brakes and gears adjusted and might include a couple of new cables or a set of brake pads. Your bike will also receive a safety check which could point out other work required and this would be advised upon.
So if you have a bike that needs a bit of a tune up or fancy riding to work and need your stead to be made road worthy and safe, get in touch.
There are a limited amount of these £50 vouchers available.
As mentioned if your bike needs more than the value of the voucher I will let you know during its safety check as this is chargeable.
So if you've a bike in the shed or the garage, are a key worker, or fancy doing that ride to work gig then this £50 voucher will help you on your way.

Top tip time.... this used to be carbon seat post until it got a bit stuck and it took me 3 hours to hack it out the alloy frame.. second one this year.. that one took me 8 hours.. so unless you want to pay me pop star wages to take a big hammer and chisel to yours pop it out the frame and give it a wee wipe and freshen up the grease.... alloy is a bigger nightmare so do them babies as well..
